It's good, but overpriced. This is a lock-one controller ONLY and doesn't have motion controls or a built in battery. For ALMOST the cost of OEM Joycons, this is a little over the top for two small boards and some plastic that barely add up to one of the cheap wired controllers they sell for $10. They're comfortable and well designed, but I can't recommend these for the full price.

This is really great. I was having issues with my hands before I bought this pad. I have small hands, but even with my small hands, the old contollers were too tiny. I really appreciate how thick and easy these are to hold onto. They also have a grippy texture which is great for me. Fits perfectly still in the docking station. Only complaint that some might have is that it doesn't look as nice as the original controllers, but it's more usable, so function over form!

Works great with bigger hands. They don't feel like they are going to slip out of my hands. The only thing I wish is they worked wireless.

This product is really helpful if you have big hands. The grips make it feel more like a steam deck sized handheld.

Feels better than the original joycons. Has extra buttons on the bottom to configure to what you need. Hopefully they have these for the switch 2

Works well enough but the thickness is wider than the console so it gives it a bulky feel. They are very durable and able to withstand my 1 year old.

    Best Controller for the Switch

These should be the default controllers that come with the Switch. The original that comes with the switch is tiny compared to these. The Hori is better fitted for bigger hands. It gives a actual controller feel when you pick it up. Definitely recommend to everyone, especially since it has the assigned buttons for better function.

Way more comfortable than the joycons. However at this price, having no battery or wireless is crazy. The build quality is okay with lots of wobble and my d pad creeks like an old wooden table.

Great grip but they do not vibrate with in game play. This can make it difficult if playing a game that relies on vibration to complete tasks.

I bought the Hori Split Pad Pro – Lucario edition for my husband, and he absolutely loves them. They’re super comfortable, feel great in the hands, and make handheld play so much easier—especially for longer gaming sessions. The Lucario design looks amazing, too. The only downside is that they don’t support motion controls, which was a little disappointing for certain games. But overall, he’s really happy with them and uses them all the time!

The feel of the control is awesome, and better if you have bigger hands like me. The only downside is that if you play on the TV, the control is not wireless. But it is great

They are bare bones - no nfc, rumble, ir camera, or motion controls. There’s no battery, so they can’t be used wirelessly. That said, the full size grip, joysticks, and buttons, they are incredibly comfortable to hold and use. Even with the missing features, I would recommend these to anyone.
