They look amazing. And i wanted to love them... but After my first use i may have made a mistake....no vibration or motion controls...please please read this before you purchase. Cant use them for zelda...the game they're made for...because in zelda you HAVE to use motion controls...no option to turn off in game.

Started out with the joy con and with larger hands they get uncomfortable with long game play. The split pad its so much better for longer game play its comfortable.

I would say they work as intended. Pros are that it makes playing in handheld mode more comfortable and the design makes for a more secure fit onto the Switch tablet. Cons are that it has no rumble, they are not recognized as controllers in the system menu, and they tend to drain the Switch battery. It wasn't a bad purchase, you just need to know what you are getting.

I wanted to love these controllers because they’re so beautiful and they feel great in my hands, but I couldn’t live without motion control. They just don’t have it. Plus, they aren’t amiibo enabled and they don’t have rumble. I can live without those two factors, but motion control was a deal breaker because I’m a Zelda fan. I loved them, but they had to go back. I’m still sad about it.

It is the most perfect grip ever. Worth my money and i got the last zelda grip. So cool with my regular and oled model. My gf steals it cuz even her small hands hurt with the joycons but with these theyre perfect. I would implore this to be your first purchase for your nintendo switch. Only at best buy do you get a deal this good.

Bought this for my son who is currently on his third time playing through the Zelda game. His eyes lit up when he got it and was examining the controllers quite thoroughly. His attention was captured by the additional buttons and the bulkiness of it gave him a better handle on the console. Overall very happy with this product. Also the price was cheaper than buying the original replacement controllers!!

Normal joycons are a bit to small for me so these are perfect in size, buttons are good as well, doesn't have amiibo functionality but I don't use them so it's a non-issue for me
Have not tried the turbo function

Best upgrade to the switch for rhise with larger hands. one thing to keep in mind is they do not have an internal battery so they have to be connected to the switch to work

These work fantastically. My only gripe is that there is no rumble. They're nice to hold. I can play for an extended amount of time without worrying about my palms being sweaty, knees weak or arms heavy. They're very comfortable.

These controlers are amazing for the switch, I bought them because the joycons were making my hands fall asleep when I was using them for long periods of time, the only complaint about them is they aren't wireless

After purching the Hori split pad pro.and using it for quiet some time i camr to the conclusion that i love this product. The comfort in your hands make this my first choice. I recommend these joy cons to anyone with huge hands or who would like to feel a full size controller in their hands. I will defimitely be purchasing a 2nd pair of these hori. I love it.

For handheld play these are far more comfortable than normal joycons for sure. They feel like holding an actual controller. The sticks are much more responsive, buttons crisper, and it's overall a significant improvement. The one criticism I've got is there's no amiibo support. They're incapable of reading the tags which means you've gotta swap controllers to be able to scan your tags, then swap back to play.

Hori brand makes one of the best third party controllers for Nintendo. This split pad pro is no exception. The controller is also attractive because of the Legend of Zelda collaboration. The split pad pro is very comfortbale to use. Great buy!

I am used to the joycons i use to break eady and be over priced. They are better priced and alot more durable for us single players put there.
