This is one of the best games ever made for PS4 I definitely recommend this for anyone that is a fan of open world games this is definitely a must have for your collection

Got this game for my wife, after getting her a PS4 Pro for her birthday. She loves it, and I've enjoyed just sitting on the couch and watching her play it. Looks amazing, and a terrific story so far.

Horizon Zero Dawn has been a joy to play so far. I am only half-way into the robust map, but I have been having a great time with all the various open world elements. The game is beautiful and fun!

Just started playing (maybe 10 hours in), and so far it's a great game. The story is interesting and the gameplay is easy to use and not too difficult.

I had wanted to play this for a while but never got around to it. Loved it. Plenty to do. Unique world. Lots of fun. Can't wait for the sequel.

This is the best game with an amazing story. I almost cried. The gameplay was fantastic and refreshing. I never got bored! This is probably the best game of the year for me.

Very good open world game. It has a very enjoyable game play loop and satisfying progression. Manages to have a rich world and doesn't get repetitive as quickly as many other competing open world games.

I finally decided to play this after it was recommended to me by a couple people. The storyline is interesting, I love the graphics, and gameplay is a lot of fun.

This has to be my favorite IP of this generation of games. I'm normally the type of person to either finish only the main story line, or get bored and stop playing before I even finish that. This game, however, drew me right in. Not only did I beat the main story, I also collected all of the lore, finished all of the side quests, finished all of the DLC quests, got all of the best gear, finished all of the challenges, and at least got partially through NG+. What makes this game so fun? For me, it was the fast paced hunting of giant machines and the depiction of a distant future where humans live in primitive societies intertwined with ancient technology that they can barely begin to understand the true power of. I loved watching Aloy gain an understanding of the world and the ancient technology. Throughout the game, she learns more and more about the old world, what happened, and how all of this technology works. By the end, she is casually making conversation with AIs that many believe to be Gods. Listening to old recordings left by the ancients is chilling, relaying personal accounts of people's lives before, during, and after the sudden and unforeseen apocalypse as they race to try to save mankind in an unexpected way. Another honorable mention is the inventory management and crafting system, which I found to be very accessible and useful. There are many different options for you to choose from, but not so many to be overwhelming. And while you CAN spend all of your resources stocking up on all different types of weapons and ammunition, you can absolutely get by with just the simple bows and arrows, some stealth, and some skill. Upgrading gear is as simple as purchasing the next tier and socketing your gear with the glyphs that suite the weapon and your play style best. Eventually you can get a skill that allows you to unsocket items, which will come in great handy for experimenting with different builds in the late game. Personally I go full damage on hunter bow, full tear on sharpshot bow, damage/fire on tripcaster, maxed out stealth armor for anything out of combat or trying to sneak out of combat, and ancient armor during combat.

The price on this game has gone down a lot, but even at full price this game is worth it! Great graphics, gameplay and storyline makes for a top tier game. Once you start playing you're hooked.

They nailed the storyline and gameplay. Once you begin, there is a certain level of sympathy towards the characters that keeps you wanting to go back into the game's universe for more. The gameplay is better than some of the more recent Assassin's Creed games. Side quests are mediocre but the concept of biology+machinery is intriguing.

This is Zelda Breath of the Wild meets Witcher 3, yet doesn't feel contrived. The landscapes are breathtaking and the story is engaging. Aloy's voice actor is good, but others fall short.

One of the best open world games out there, one of the best of PS4 generation. The story and worldbuilding is top notch. Definitely worth it on sale.

Just a couple of hours into the game and I can see what all my friends are talking about when they say they love the game. Interesting story, phenomenal graphics and the gameplay is fun as well.

This is a really fun game. Its easy to get wrapped up in the world around you and not really worry about the main quests. Looking forward to the sequel on PS5

What a great game! I did not know what to expect and it was bought on sale but I’m so glad I did! Storyline is intriguing and gameplay is very good.

I have not been using my PS4 as much as I should. After neglecting it for a while I went to get a game that I heard a lot of good things about. Enter Horizon. Now, I did a bunch of console updates and then installed the game prepared to not be as impressed as I wanted to be. I was pleasantly surprised. The game in truth looks and plays great. The robotic creatures are fascinating and the characters are well done. The game is as good as I had heard and I’m very pleased to get back to the PS4 to play this. In fact, it’s the only game I’ve been playing lately. Don’t hesitate on this or in hoping for a sequel.

This is a very good game. Deep gameplay and unique graphic choices. The open world works well and has a solid main character. One of PlayStations best games this gen.
