From the opening cinematic you can see the awesome production values that went into this game. Glad I waited for the Complete Edition, though, since you get everything in a single purchase.

Having completed RDR2 recently, I think back to Horizon as an example of a superior game executed to perfection. The story, play mechanics, and fun are off the charts. This is one of the few games I have ever 100 percented, and the expansion pack adds significant challenge. Can't wait for the sequel!

I played Farcry Primal but I enjoyed this game a lot more. Excellent story, graphics, and game play.

Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition is absolutely worth playing, no doubt, but for me, there are some game play issues that prevent it from being perfect. One of those issues being dealing with the camera while battling some of the more quicker and powerful robots. You're dealing with the camera looking at one direction, while a robot is shooting from the opposite direction. Also, the decisions of some of the enemies is questionable. In one minute, the robot is tearing me from limb to limb...but then they lose sight of me and go back to their default position, despite being in a very small area. Thanks, I guess? Regardless, it's a very good game and worth playing. Ashly Burch's and Lance Reddick voice acting is phenomenal! Beautiful graphics and a very intriguing plot! Much credit to the writers and directors for employing a diverse cast of characters.

I don't generally love open-world games. I love this one. The characters and culture are deep & engrossing and the gameplay, not just the plot or events, is enough to keep you invested before that. You'll happily spend hours hunting even before you fall in love with the sidequest NPCs or solve the main plot's mysteries. Easily one of the best of the PS4.

Got all kinds of consoles but this one brought prestige to PS4, with it’s story, graphics, & gameplay.
