This was a phenomenal open world experience that while doesn't reinvent the genre like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it does provide a beautiful and engaging experience on PS4, even better on the pro console in 4k.

OK, so you are weary because the last time Guerrilla Games made something for PS4 it was the lousy, over-marketed, Killzone: Shadowfall. Well you sit down and you listen: This is pretty much they're gamer apology letter - and it's a pretty great letter. You this girl who has super powers because she finds the internet. Then she goes all batman meets sherlock holmes in an action adventure game to discover why millions of robot dinosaurs are terrorizing the land. I'm not done with the game yet, but it's pretty great. Honestly, I wish I could turn into a dinosaur like those Super Mario Odyssey commercials show, but the technical capability of the PS4 isn't there yet.I can make do with shooting dinosaurs and stealing their innards to upgrade my bow. This is a very cool open world game. The story is strong and the grafx are superb. Would love to see it on a PS4pro on 4K. I got this for $20 on Black Friday so not bad to get one of the best games this year for a bargain.

Hesitant at first but after reading reviews of other gamers I decided to give it a try. The game itself has a good story and has amazing graphics. If you are on the fence about it, go ahead and get it. You won’t regtet it.

If you like open world RPG with an actual story then this game is up your alley. The abilities and skills you unlock are original; the choice of weapons are plentiful as you can fully customize them to your play style.

For an open world game, this one is the best. Unfortunately, it follows the same formulas as any other open world game with random side quests and towers to climb, etc. But this one does a better job than any other one.

Quite possibly the best PS4 game of 2017, and maybe the best game of 2017 Period. Gameplay is so much fun, the graphics are phenomenal, story is intriguing. Ive had it for a week and already put in 25 hours. Just buy it.

Honestly, this is probably one of my favorite video games, and that is including classics like the Bioshock series and Fallout. The world is engaging, the gameplay challenging, and the story strong. This is a great game!

First, let me say Horizon Zero Dawn is the best game of 2017. The graphics is stunning while it introduced a very interesting story line. It has also implemented a great battle control with abundant weaponry to utilize.

Amazing story line, stunning graphics, and simply awesome game play. The old joke about "my girlfriend thought it was a movie", well I'm the wife that actually enjoyed watching both my husband and son's play this game!

I bought this after seeing a trailer for this. This game goes far beyond what I thought it was going to be. From the massive fields to the engaging story, this game got me hooked. Can’t wait for additional content.

This is by far the best game ever for the PlayStation 4. This should be this console's Zelda. The graphics are amazing. The gameplay is phenomenal along with the easy to use and master controls. There are some glitches like every game( like being hit by a machine and then being stuck inside a rock lol). I absolutely love the gameplay the graphics and the storyline. This is the best value per dollar game I've bought for the PS4. Two weeks playing and just 38%complete. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

This game is beautiful and fun to play, and the story is really interesting. Would totally recommend. Beware though that it's long and highly addictive! Also, Best Buy had the best price I could find for it new.

In Horizon Zero Dawn you play as Aloy, a girl who doesn't fit in with the rest of her group and she has a want for discovery. There are mysteries to the old world and where the robots came from and who her family was. You will explore a vast open world, taking on a variety of monster robots with your bow and arrows and different weapon traps to defeat them. Upgrading your character with the skill tree to better adapt to each battle and your play style. Find secret items and audio logs from the past to help unlock the mystery of what happened to the world. The game handles great, the variety of robots is awesome, the stealth works well, the graphics are top notch rivaling Uncharted 4. Some cons would be the open world can get boring with such long distances between some areas and not much to do, the side quests can become somewhat boring/repetitive and the story beats sometimes take awhile to get going, but once it does you get sucked in. Recommended if you are a fan of 3rd person action, uncharted, open world games.

This game has a beautiful world to explore and everything from the fighting to the story is amazing.

This is likely the the best game of the year, maybe the best game of the last 5 years. Engaging story, Graphics are amazing and I don't even have the PS4 Pro with a 4K TV. Character movement and button layout make sense. Huge open world map and lots too do without feeling like you are just doing the same thing over and over again, and there are lots of quests to find that aren't part of the primary story or the normal side quests, things you discover by exploring the world but don't show up on any map.

I was so excited to finally get Horizon. Got it at an amazing price point and it definitely exceeds my expectations. Story is great. And the world and characters look beautiful. Great open world adventure game

I had wanted this game since it came out but waited for the price to drop. As soon as it did, I snatched it up right away. The story is amazing as well as the graphics. This game is a must have for PS4 owners.

This game of reminds me of a little bit of Skyrim where it's open world and you pretty much do whatever you want. It's survival type of game where it's not zombie themed for once. Gorgeous looking game. Intriguing story. Gameplay is full of action. One very minor gripe I do have with the game so far is that the expressions the characters convey sometimes don't match what they say and it makes the emotion a little less genuine. Overall, definitely one of the top games for the PS4 at this time.

With so many open world games few will suck you in like this one. From the story to the mechanics and most importantly the dinosaurs it’s honestly just a great game overall with so many hours worth of content
