When I saw this game at E3 last year, I thought it looked incredible. However, After the show I kind of forgot about it. My brother was hyped about it, so I ordered it for him from Best Buy. After watching him play and playing myself, I can confirm that it is a great game, definitely worth 60 bucks. Along with last of us, uncharted 4, and MLB the show it is another great reason to own a PS4.

I had heard so much about this game, so I picked it up on Black Friday. It absolutely lived up to the hype.

One of the best games I have ever played. Very well made. I put so many hours into this game and it is always rewarding. I will rate it a 9.7/10. My only quip is that you have to keep picking up health flowers. But that is minor compared to how amazing this game is. When you take down a giant robot dinosaur, you will feel amazing. And that's just one of the best aspects of this game.

Innovation is very difficult in the gaming industry. Most gaming developers believe that if a game doesn't have RPG mechanics, Open Worlds or 100 hrs of content the gaming community will hate it. This is simply not true. Zero Dawn follows this same trend. It's a beautiful game first and foremost. It showcases the some of the richest contrast and use of colors I've ever seen. The story and world is a been there done that retread, but it's intriguing to explore Aloy's journey for answers in a post apocalyptic landscape. The various tribes and side quest they offer are fun and engaging. My biggest fear with Zero Dawn is repetition. It's marketed as an RPG. However, with limited skill trees and weapons I fear the end game will be very stale. I don't know we'll see.

This is a AAA title. An incredible game with some of the best graphics of this generation. An interesting story, a terrific open-world worth exploring, and intense action sequences with the robotic dinosaurs. Unless you don't care for intense action games like this or Tomb Raider/Assassin's Creed/Metal Gear Solid/etc, then this is a no-brainer purchase. One of the best of the year games.
