Horizon is a gorgeous game, which was one of the reasons I hesitated buying it. I was worried that all of the rave reviews were based on the aesthetics alone, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of depth and narrative that the game offers. A solid combat experience, good writing, and a deep enemy roster combine with the game's astounding visuals to provide a complete and satisfying experience.

OMG this game is SOOO good. You will spend so many hours wandering around the vast map doing side quests and main missions. The story telling is great too :)

From the moment you start playing Horizon Zero Dawn, a few things become abundantly clear: 1, the controls and way Aloy handles feel very familiar to fans of the genre, in a good way... much easier to get a handle on than say, the Witcher III. 2, the combat system is simple to understand but difficult to master. 3, you'll find yourself stopping to say "wow" in many areas... the graphics and art direction in this game are phenomenal. 4, Despite the familiar feel, the new characters and incredibly unique environment, story and creatures will make you want to discover everything this game has to offer. This is my favorite game of 2017 so far, hands down. The combat is very tense, and the animal like machines are diverse and interesting in the variety of ways they move and attack. It feels like you could attack a herd in 10 different ways using the variety of ranged weapons, traps and melee attacks at your disposal. There is a clear advantage to being stealthy, but Aloy is plenty capable with machines charging her head on as well. Some of the larger battles against larger machines will definitely get your heart rate up. The story is pretty interesting and the side quests are somewhat varied. Excellent music and decent voiceovers. You definitely feel like you want to learn the entire story more-so than a lot of open world games. All I have to conclude is that if you own a PS4 and are looking for an adventure to lose yourself in, this game is a must-own.

As great as all the hype says. Fun and engaging. Interesting mechanics and an amazing world to explore. I bought it at a bargain price and worth every penny!

The world is gorgeous. The story is gripping. The combat is exciting. This is one of the most well balanced games I have played in a long time. I usually don't trophy hunt but I had so much fun playing that I just ended up doing it. The pros far outweigh the cons with this game. I can overlook little issues like long load times when fast traveling or silly climbing mechanics. Definitely a must play.

What a surprise this game was! Developed by Guerilla Games (makers of the Killzone series) this open world action-adventure RPG places you in the shoes of Aloy, an outcast of her tribe in the search of truth and justice. On your journey you will explore a meticulously crafted world, meet new friends and adversaries, and hunt giant robotic dinosaurs! Challenging and fun, I highly recommend this game.

This is one of my favorite games on PS4. I have a PlayStation 4 Pro and the game looks phenomenal on both a 1080p monitor and a 4K television with HDR. It's a lot of fun. I'm usually not a huge fan of open world games, but Horizon pulls it off quite well. There's plenty to do, plenty of people to talk to, and the story is great. Definitely add this game to your PlayStation 4 collection.

Horizon Zero Dawn is an amazing game. It has a huge, gorgeous, and interesting open world full of things to do. The combat offers plenty of variety with the many different weapons and enemies to tackle. As well as a story that is very compelling and makes you want to know more. If the Witcher meets Rise of the Tomb Raider with robot dinosaurs interest you, then you will not be disappointed.

This is the best single player game on the PS4 hands down. Great gameplay, story, and graphics. Played through multiple times and it always felt fresh!

This game is simply stunning and intuitive. The graphics and gameplay are top notch. The story is very fun and exploring the lush environment leaves you wanting to keep exploring. Lots of side quests and collectibles to keep you busy for a long time. Weapons are a nice touch and with the ability to customize them is even better. A must have game for anyone that wants a beautiful and long game.

This game is great on all fronts; great story, challenging gameplay and immersive emotional story as you follow Aloy and her journey. Highly recommended.

This game had a lot of hype leading up to it, and I was a little skeptical of purchasing the game. However, that should not of been the case. This is a great open world game, with a great amount of story, and lots to do. I have often found myself off exploring, or killing machines, ignoring the main quest. Definitely a must play for a PlayStation for owner, even if you get it at a sale price.

the story, graphics, motions, just everything is a must. The side quests keep you busy to level up against these big mechanical beasts. An amazing game.

Gorgeous; this games 4K graphics create a beautiful environment in went you hunt dinosaurs that are in fact robots. Lots of fun, and a great storyline.

If you have a PS4 pro and a 4K TV you will appreciate the HDR support and 4K visuals. Game runs smooth and looks amazing. Great gameplay and storyline.

The graphics and storyline are out of this world. I love how aloy keeps pushing herself through the struggles in life. The gameplay is also good too.

I absolutely loved this game. It looked amazing in the previews. But playing it was an excellent experience. Turned out to be an open world game with loads of fun and side quests and extras. The cyber animals were amazing to look at. The story is interdiction and reminds me of a Sci fi movie..... I don't want to spoil it for you. But this game has hours of game play.
