I have played this game for a few games but Switched to another game. As soon as I finish the other game I will Switch back to Horizon Dawn as I really enjoyed the gameplay. Unfortunately many of these open world type games are feeling about the same. This is a mixture of Far Cry Primal, Assassins Creed, Just Cause etc.

The game world, character models, and story are fantastic. Aloy is a very likable mascot for Sony. I'm a huge fan of the Killzone series. Many criticized these games for being too dark/bland visually or for not being open-ended enough. It's amazing how GG addressed these criticisms with Horizon. Here are my issues with the game: - The final boss battle is a bit disappointing. This game could REALLY benefit from a new game plus mode where you replay the game with unlocked overrides(I assume GG will fix this with a free update) -Human enemies are too easy to beat Overall, I would recommend this game, but for $20-30.

After finishing Witcher 3 I was looking for another open world RPGish game and HZD definately delivers. If I want to do quests I can do that or just spend some mindless time wandering around killing robots. So far mechanics are pretty good and controls are easy to pick up. Reminds me a lot of the newest Tomb Raider.

great new look and feel to a game, cross breading so many elements from other game, and make a Hybrid of new generation gaming. open world, meets electro-Dino era.....

This game is great. Its hard to put it down. Even the sides quests and activities have not become boring yet. The game is easy if you plan accordingly, but very difficult when you mess up and don't plan which is appropriate. They found a good balance for their difficulty level which makes the game even more enjoyable.

Really nice surprise! I missed this game when it first came out but glad I picked it up now at a nice discount!

graphics are gorgeous and the story will keep you involved until the very end. This is more of an action game with some RPG elements rather than the other way around

The game is an amazing cinematic experience mixed with impressive game mechanics and an intriguing story line.

This game is epic! What can I say I've always loved games made by guerilla and I feel like they made a comeback with this one. The story is fantastic and it's refreshing to have a brand new Ip where you can battle robot dinosaurs. The scenery is great, story is great, I love the whole game. A must buy in my opinion.

But a welcomed change from the norm. I got tired of shoot ‘em up games & decided to make a change. I like it!

I have enjoyed this game. It has the usual parts of open world games but it doesn't seem redundant. The "animals" all have their own personalities and every fight is different and can be won or lost in multiple ways. I'm level 41 already and I'm still not bored of it and I have barely touched the main missions yet.

Thought this game would be over hyped and wouldn't be able to live up to it but this game is great regardless!

A PS4 exclusive that I was surprised by as I had no expectations, but reminded me why I got a PS4 over a Xbox

I had my doubts about this game. When I bought it, I can't sophisticated playing. The graphics are beautiful, the physics are amazing, the game itself it beyond what I expected. Love it! It reminds me of Far Cry 4, ARK: Survival evolved and Assassin's creed 2 all put together into one game.. but that's my opinion.

Horizon is a gorgeous game that features one of the most ambitious and engrossing stories on the platform. Add in fantastic art design, voice work, and a killer soundtrack, and you have one of the best games of this generation. Be sure to pick up the expansion, The Frozen Wilds as well!

Friends told me about this game and invited me to play with them. Needless to say I had to have my own copy.

I’ll keep it short. Awesome graphics, great concept and story, good for people who like bow and arrow games, AWESOME buy for parents who want to avoid “blood and gore”, and there is definitely a good variation between the easiest and hardest story levels that can carry any gamer at any ability level!
