Horizon: Zero Dawn may be a mouthful of a name, but the new IP has a pretty fantastic world. Its story is somewhat refreshing but the side quests aren't as great. The open world is beautiful for a console game, unfortunately it is slightly hindered by being influenced by Ubisoft style world building. Fighting the robots is fun and interesting most of the time, but the human enemies leave something to be desired. Overall a fantastic game in a fresh setting that is welcomed. Unfortunately it was hard not to compared this game to the far superior Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, since they came out so close to each other.

This game has won many awards, and it’s no wonder why. The gameplay is smooth and the story is so captivating.

A Beautiful open world game with giant Robot Dinosaurs...need I say more? And there is a solid story as well.

I love this game! One of the best I played all year. The story, game play, music and graphics are all superb.

I was very happy with this game. It's a huge open world game with a large map and tons of content. If you like large games that you can sink hours upon hours into and feel like you've only scratched the surface, then this is a game for you. You can spend hours running around just doing your own thing and exploring the interesting world or you can be very goal driven and stick strictly to the missions. Either way there is a ton to do. Side note, there are striking similarities in the game play, load outs, outfits, leveling up, foraging, fighting, crafting, ect... between this and the new tomb raider games. So if you like them, then you will like this, and vice versa. I believe tomb raider came first so it's basically like they took the core elements of tomb raider, made a few little tweaks slapped on some new graphics and story line and made a new game... I love both games though. At there core they are identical but over all, they're definitely two different games. Hope this helps?

This game is without doubt my game of 2017. Beautiful world, great story and a ton to do in this open world.

This game delivered on all fonts for me. The combat is fluid, and unlike pretty much any game I've played. The story is engrossing and well thought out. The pacing of the game is phenomenal. The graphics are unlike anything else on consoles. The voice acting is really solid (outside of a couple of side quests).

One of the best PS4 title of 2017. The story is interesting and combat are great. Can't wait for the new DLC

This is a great game full stop, the story draws you in and has a better feel than most movies, this along with the stunning graphics makes it a must buy, I just wish I had bought it sooner, if your thinking of getting it with the Black Friday discount - do it -

Awesome 4K HDR gaming! Most of this game is beautiful to behold,good story and controls great. That said, I am only about 10 hours into the game and must admit I am starting to get a bit bored with it. While combat is good it's is starting to feel repetitive and while the bow is great I wish there was more variety in weapons and tactics. There is nothing this game does that have not been done before in other open world games. The game is polished and it seems that most people that play it love it, maybe I just set me expectations a little to high by reading too many glowing reviews before buying it.

Easily the best looking open world game I've played. The gameplay is great and side quest don't feel like pointless missions that give the illusion of long game play. Takes about 45-50 hours to complete 100% Which is great. Not too long, not to short. No ridiculous loading times and the concept is fresh.

This game is great in all aspects (e.g., graphics, gameplay, story, etc). It also arrived very quickly.

Horizon is one of my favorite games of the current generation. The story and lore of the world are really engaging and make it hard to put the controller down once you start playing. Stalking around the forests of the future hunting and being hunted by robot dinosaurs is exactly as awesome as it sounds.

This game was easy to install (didn't take nearly as long as some of the other games) and really fun to play. I'm actually about 20 hours in and hear it generally takes about 40 hours to complete. The graphics are amazing especially if you have the PS4 Pro and a 4K TV with HDR. My wife wasn't even sure if it was a game I was playing. The graphics look that good. The gameplay is just as good. Highly recommend if you haven't picked it up yet.

I love this game. It's beautiful, it plays great, it's immersive, it has a great weapons, crafting and upgrades and the characters and story really draw me in. If nothing else, I love it because so far, it's really enjoyable to experience the main character's journey in the game. She's quite astounding.
