It's been a while since I've sat down and played a game for as many hours as I have this one. My PS4 has been sitting idle for several months now and when I came across this one, I decided to pick it up after reading some reviews. I can confirm that this is one awesome game! The story line is intriguing and the gameplay/graphics are great. The fact that you are in a post apocalyptic world with bizarre machines acting like animals roaming around...weird! But it does have the element of a mystery to it as well. I am pretty deep within the game and probably have put about 25-30 hours into it and still have plenty to do. I've heard that the makers of this game are planning on releasing some more downloadable content later this year as well. The game has everything that roleplaying fans like. Level up your character, weapons...plenty of side quest...great story, and some really neat creature designs. Excellent game and really look forward to pushing through to the end to find out exactly what is going on with these machines!

The game was recommended by a friend. I bought the PS4 to play it. And I don't regret it. Lots of fun. It's a story that I'm enjoying. The game play works very well. The graphics are very nice. Challenge is configurable, and provides enough challenge to make it fun, without forcing me to rage quit.

Interesting story and great combat. One of the best open-world games on the PS4 that isn't bogged down by boring side-quests. My only complaint is that the close combat sucks. Kinda makes sense since the primary combat is done using a bow and arrow, but I thought it could have been done better.

Horizon: Zero Dawn would be a page turner if it was a book. I was constantly intrigued by the story. The mysteries that are established are answered at an excellent pace. I was always driven to continue the story to see what would happen next or learn a new revelation. The developers have created an amazing blend of styles in its world that make it feel unique to other video games. I was originally put off by the gameplay. I thought it was too difficult to get through the open world without running into difficult enemies that I felt underpowered against. Luckily the game has a large number of difficulties, so the game can be set to a much easier difficulty setting. Once I had a better understanding of the combat and what I needed to do to take out the larger, more difficult enemies, I was able to increase the difficulty again and enjoy the game the rest of the way through. If you're a fan of open world games, action RPGs, or great sci-fi stories this is an easy recommendation.

Great graphics gameplay and story and a nice sized DLC add on.

I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy this game or not, but I decided to give it a shot since the game was on sale. I'm glad I made that purchase, because I ended up really enjoying the game. The story, the visuals, the gameplay, and the action were all great, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Wonderful open world. Fantastic story and engaging, challenging and rewarding gameplay & combat. This game is a home run and true contender for game of the year. Voice acting can seem a little sub par when it comes to NPCs and quest givers, but nothing that will take away from the experience

So I played this game at the same time as zelda and this is by far the better open world game. This game has an amazing story, beautiful graphics, and tight controls. I couldn't stop playing this game. I beat it on hard and kept looking forward to my next encounter. I can't wait for a sequel

Easily one of my all-time favorites. I was skeptical when the game first came out. Even after seeing the trailer. Just wasn't sure if it was my kind of game. Wow! Was I wrong. So glad I decided to try it. Great story. Great game play. Beautiful graphics. Get it. You will not regret it.
