This is a great game with nice story, graphic 10**

There are very few games that are well polished from the very day that they are released, but Horizon Zero Dawn is one of them. The game is absolutely gorgeous, incredibly fun to play, and offers a unique blend of various story and gameplay elements. This game is absolutely beautiful on the standard PS4. I can only imagine how amazing it must look on the PS4 Pro. This is one of the greatest games I've played in a very long time, and the most exciting thing to me is that Guerilla Games has created a universe that they obviously intend to expand on. I cannot wait to see this game turn into a series, and I look forward to seeing what future games will be inspired by Horizon Zero Dawn. Buy this game and you will not regret it!

I've played many games in my life both like Horizon Zero Dawn and unalike. This game continues to amaze me with its combat, beautiful open world, and immersive story. Easily one of the best PS4 exclusives so far!

This open world is beautiful, third person gameplay is easy to understand, and the story line is well developed. I wish I had a 4K television. It has taken my attention from the other games that I regularly play.

Great story line, requires time and quick reflexes

One of the best games to play on PlayStation 4 pro, and i scored it for $39 at Best Buy! This game ranks really high in graphics, game-play, story. Pretty much hits all the marks of an excellent video game.

This game has great graphics with smooth, fluid combat and movements. There is a wide variety of weapons to available, an interesting story line, and good enemies. Some of the dialogue could be better.

What a world this game provides. Open and expansive, mysterious and ellusive, but deadly at its foremost. This is a well-crafted game with amazing graphics and deep story. You would be missing out by missing it!

When you think about a game all day at work or when you lay down to go to sleep it makes me compelled to write something in the review thread about it. I've never wrote a review about a game until now, yet I base my purchases largely off of the Amazon reviews/comments, etc. I want to start of saying how I am also a very narrow minded gamer, I admit it. What I mean is that when I get too overwhelmed or frustrated, I bail. I like linear games that I can finish in my lifetime so I can feel that I accomplished something. I enjoy immersing myself in an endless world where I can do anything and go anywhere but I get overwhelmed at the complexity and detail involved with potion mixing/mods/crafting, etc. Not knocking those that enjoy is, it's just not me. Then along came this game. I have been consumed. All I can say is that if you are a true gamer, you know the answer is obvious, but if you are a gamer that is like me, part-timer, hard to impress, gives up when overwhelmed or over challenged.....BUY THIS GAME and you won't regret it. It is challenging and overwhelming in all the right ways!

The graphics, game mechanics and open world make this game. Its fun and makes you think. Story is good so far and I can't wait to get deeper into the game. One of the best looking games of 2017 in my opinion

If you haven't bought a PS4 yet, then Horizon Zero Dawn is the reason you should buy one. The graphics, game play and story are awesome and beyond my expectations! Sony has done it again with this exclusive.

This is one of the best games I have played this year and this year is stacked. The story, the combat, and the music. My only minor complaint is that the side quests are not as fun and can get repetitive.

Its hard to get over just how much Guerrilla Games accomplished with this game. Its beautiful, its deep and its got a fantastic story. I enjoy it and if you like open world games - this is for you. Get it.

RPG fans will be very pleased with the story and adventure that awaits! Great combat and quests. Graphics are awesome as well. If you like open world exploration and unique gameplay, you will love this game.

Got this game for myself but my kids (13 and 11) took over quickly and they love it. Excellent graphics, but the gameplay is solid and has a very interesting storyline. As soon as my son finished it he went looking for more and bought the additional content that came out recently. He is usually more strategy game than shootemup so this game drew his attention as the fighting is more thoughtful and allows you to be more stealth and patient in the fighting. When I say fighting I mean taking down big robotic dinosaurs and more so the violence isn't a concern in my book if you are strict on what your kids play. In fact it's a positive strong female in a lead role so there's that positive influence.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a fun game that looks amazing on a 4k TV with a PS4 Pro. The gamplay is similar to FarCry, with a more interesting storyline. Fighting crazy machines with a bow and arrow is a good time.

My favorite PS4 exclusive until Spider-Man came along. Long, epic single player with great open world, satisfying combat, and love hunting the machines. To me this is better than God of War

pros: great characters challenging fun gameplay graphics are amazing great start to a new franchise! freaking robot dinosaurs cons: ending is weak side quests and crafting are underwhelming

The world is gorgeous, the story is solid. The female protagonist is never overtly sexualized. A great game, especially if you like playing as sneaky archer characters

This generation of consoles I went PC and played all the 3rd party games, but I came back to Playstation and bought a PS4 for the exclusives. I already ran through Uncharted 4 and loved it. Horizon was my 2nd game to play. I follow all the news on games and I heard such great things about Horizon, but ultimately it didn't live up to expectations. The story is pretty good, but as with all open world games the problem you have is that the story gets the back seat for open world exploration. The combat is fun, but the greatest downfall in the gameplay is stupid AI. There were many times when I was on a mission with NPCs and the goal was getting stealthy kills. I would get into cover and my friendly NPC would not be in cover. Well here would come the enemy and walk right by (sometimes brushing) my NPC and nothing would happen. What the heck?!? There are other examples, but again the AI is real bad. I keep hearing about the polish of Horizon, but I didn't see it. Graphically it is impressive, but gameplay wise there are many bugs that could have used some extra attention. Overall a game with great potential but some bad elements, especially the AI broke the immersion for me.
