The story pleasantly surprised me. I like everything about the game except that the control scheme is not great and the inventory management is atrocious.

I HAVEN'T BEATEN THE GAME AS OF YET BUT I AM LOVING THE STORY SO FAR. THE GAMEPLAY IS FAIRLY EASY FOR THE MOST PART. EXCITED TO SEE WHERE THE STORY GOES!

While the graphics are superb, and the story line interesting and clever, the game is too much cinematic therapy and too little just plain old-fashioned FUN. Making a "game" work is what World of Warcraft likes to do, and explains why they've lost millions of subscribers. The visual "wow effect," if you will, doesn't matter anymore, as it once did; having FUN does!

Unique setting and beautiful graphics, Overall fun single player game. Some missions feel a little repetitive, but that happens in open world games.

I know nothing about video games but my 23 year old son asked for this for Christmas and he was thrilled to receive it! It must have been popular because I had a little trouble tracking it down and was very glad Best Buy had it in stock and available for same day pick up!

Although this game is beautiful and fun to play it reminds me too much of a previous game, Far Cry Primal. If you've played that game then you'll definately know the mechanics, from taming and riding to shooting arrows and throwing spears. It's the same game. The only thing new you will get out of Horizon is the back story and scenery. It takes aspects from other games as well, like the map discovery from Assassin's Creed and a detective mode from Batman.

Greta game like how it open world and the different culture of people and animals. Very nice to see how the dinosaur we're back in the the dino time.

Great game, long story. This has a story line that excels more than any other, but the slow, gathering process seems too mundane. Almost unnecessary

This is an action packed game and I rated it good because the graphics were good and realistic. Horizon Zero Dawn in my opinion is for teen and up.

Big maps in this game, gorgeous scenics and detail, good mechanics to game play, a good mix of quests and fighting. Detail is awesome in this game!

The tutorials and controls are the little daunting at first. But after that, it's the best looking, most fun game to date on the PS4

Game was pretty good. It's a little bit Monster Hunter, and quite a bit generic Ubisoft sandbox, but it does enough well to warrant a playthrough.

The concept of the digital age causing people to revert to tribes is interesting, and the weapons are cool. But seriously...it's robot dinosaurs!

Horizon Zero Dawn is an incredibly polished, graphically gorgeous experience, but it lacks anything innovative. The story is predictable and really nothing special or new while the voice acting is dry and often cringe worthy. Gameplay sees using your bow as generally satisfying, but everything else is done much better in every other open world game. Truthfully, it got boring and tedious really fast and not much kept me wanting to continue playing.

When you think about a game all day at work or when you lay down to go to sleep it makes me compelled to write something in the review thread about it. I've never wrote a review about a game until now, yet I base my purchases largely off of the Amazon reviews/comments, etc

This game has met my expectations and exceeded them. The only thing I would change is the weapon setup. Instead of being able to upgrade your weapons to do a variety of damages, you have to carry around a multitude of weapons to fit your needs. But even that isn't too bad.

Even though it seems to be the same as other games, harvest items, find collectible items; the story draws you in and the graphics are awesome.

Not a hardcore gamer or anything, but I enjoyed this game. Great game to play if you've got some time to kill. Gameplay was solid

I love it, its as solid as tomb raider and uncharted. The questing is a bit vague at times and thedifficulty ramps up quicker than most games.

On a PS4 pro with a 4k tv this game really shines. Open world game with plenty of side quests. Lots of fun and the main character is engaging.
