First off the world is insanely gorgeous even more so on a PS4 Pro. Then add in the great fluid combat and a really interesting story. This is a must own game for the PS4.

A world overrun by machines, and a compelling story. Beautifully crafted landscapes to free roam in. Combat is fast paced, challenging and rewarding. Definitely worth playing.

Horizon is a fantastic post post-apocalyptic open world action rpg. The game is breathtakingly beautiful, and the action is fluid and fast-paced. Sony really nailed this one.

This game has been on my wishlist for a while, so when I saw that it was $20 at Best Buy with free shipping there was nothing holding me back anymore from purchasing it. I ordered it on a Thursday and got it the very NEXT DAY. I am so excited to start playing this game!

This game is easily one of the most gorgeous games I have ever played. That alone is worth buying this game, but the fact that it's even more fun to play makes it the best game of 2017 for me. The story is one of the best I've played through/read/watched in my lifetime.

I originally was skeptic after reading other players' experiences playing this 'challenging and difficult' game — since it was developed by Team Ninja, same company that developed the extremly-difficult popular Ninja Gaiden series. Oh boy, after playing it...I was HOOKED! Truly a masterpiece and fun. The enemies may indeed be difficult at times but that's because this game requires patience and strategizing your attacks and offensive/defensive gameplay. Definitely not your typical 'hack-and-slash' game. On a last note, I love how this game is an action-PPG...TONS of weapons, armors, magic, etc. Get it now if you haven't! :)

I was surprised by how much I love this game. I love the MC, the graphics, the combat, and the world I can explore. Definitely recommend to anyone who's interested.

This huge open world game is amazing. The graphics, the game play and story elements just add a new form of environment and game play. A new IP that is worth checking out .

I have only played this game for a few hours, but it has been quite the experience. Very excited to see how the rest of the game plays out! Reminds me a lot of those God of War trailers that are out except the baddies are machines. Pretty addictive adventure so far.

I didnt get this game at launch because I was dedicating the time to Zelda once I got Switch. But boy was I missing out. This game is amazingly fun to play...and the pacing is perfect even for younger gamers to get accuanted to controllers. Would highly recommend it

I haven't been this immersed in an open world game for some time now. This game is truly a keeper for all PS4 owners. The attention to detail is impeccable and the story is well choreographed, especially in an open world environment which usually tends to stray off.

Can't say enough good about Horizon: Zero Dawn - it takes place in an absolutely beautiful setting, the story is the typical Hero's Journey but interesting and enveloping all the same, Aloy stands out as a striking character, the most interesting female protagonist since The Longest Journey from nearly two decade ago, combat is such a joy because after every challenging fight you feel like a superhero without the game actually imposing superhero status on you, and the user interface is so simple you hardly notice it. Best console game of the year so far, and will probably finish 2017 with the same status. Excellent.

If Horizon Zero Dawn doesn't win game of the year something is wrong. Excellent graphics, story, and characters. Game play is smooth no loading screens. Outstanding game.

Shocked and surprised by how engaging and enjoyable this wonderful game is. Glorious vistas, a beautiful compelling post-apocalyptic setting, and and GIGANTIC MECHA-DINOSAUR HUNTING AND DUELING!! I think that is the objective definition of awesomeness. The fighting is fun and strategic and nail bitingly intense when you are facing down a massive thunderjaw. Only small quibble is that the experience scaling seems a bit off from the main quest. If you do the sidequests it seems like you are overleveled for the main quests. But don't miss this one if you like videogames. Best open world since Witcher III or Red Dead.

Awesome game! it's extremely fun to play, there's always something new to do and it keeps the player entertained and challenged throughout the entire game. Story is OK the entire premise of the game is really unique and it is absolutely beautiful if you play in HDR.

What an awesome game by Guerrilla Games. One of the best looking games out there. Even looks better than Uncharted 4 which says a LOT about any game. It's so hard to wrap your head around the story when you start playing but as you progress deep into the game, you'll begin to get what's really happening. I take my time before I finish my Role Playing games and sometimes, that can frustrate you with repetitive missions etc. Not this game. It keeps it fresh and interesting. If you haven't played it already then give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

This is the best game I have played in some time. Immersive story, great action, incredible graphics and plenty to do. Highly recommend this game to anyone and everyone.

I'm about 5 hours into this game and already blown away. If I were to provide a game comparison, i would say this game is on the same level as the Witcher 3. The combat is tight and allows for freedom between stealth, ranged, and close combat, creating an experience similar to a blend between Far Cry and the Witcher 3. The story so far is incredible - I love what they've done to combine futuristic technology with tribal culture. You'd think the two would be like mixing oil and vinegar, but instead it's like ice cream and cookies! There's more to be said but I'll leave it at that. Fantastic game!

This game has that magic spark that makes it very special and very addicting. I cannot believe hope much i enjoyed this game! I'm one who gets bored easy with games and often doesn't finish them... Well not this one, I stayed up many nights to just play a little bit more... a little bit more... a little bit more of this game. Very addicting! I loved the combat fighting amazing mechanical machines and the story line was very immersive as well. I finished the game pretty quickly, I thought, and really wanted more. I can't wait until they come out with some DLC for this game! This game is an absolute must buy!

This game is amazing. It has a great story, great gameplay, and awesome graphics. It has variable difficulty settings so it fits your needs. A definite must buy for pS4
