I purchased this specifically to complement a ps4 pro I recently purchased. It is currently one of the best examples of what a difference 4k and hdr can make. The game itself os very engaging and just flat out gorgeous.

This game takes all the good ideas found in most open world games and perfects them. Even though things can get repetitive, it never feels like you're doing the same thing over and over. I was worried it would not be optimized for regular PS4, which is what I've been playing on, but the animations are smooth and the graphics are absolutely stunning. The combat is easy to learn but remains challenging throughout.

Beautiful graphics and a compelling main storyline, there are plenty of side quests to enjoy the open world layout of the game.

As a person who enjoys combat in action games (a la The Witcher 3, Dark Souls III, Monster Hunter, etc.), this game's pretty graphics are just the winning smile. Underneath that smile is some personality, mostly in the combat aspects. Taking on mechanical beasts is thrilling and fun, and when you use all of the tools the game provides you, you start to feel like a total bada**. Before you know it, you WELCOME the fights, and it all becomes an explosive and engaging experience. Couple that with the winning smile, and you have a world you want to explore and hunt in. The only thing I provide fair warning of is that the story is poorly paced, and let's just say you'll go from knowing almost nothing to essentially everything all at once in the end-game. It's an odd climb in the story narrative, but perhaps partially a fault of being an open-world game where player pacing cannot be controlled. Otherwise, you get that winning smile and personality, and if you're on the PS4 Pro like I am, that smile has got some really shiny pearly whites!

This is one of the best games I've played in a long time. A must have for any action gamer looking to get a good game added to their library. I purchased a second copy as a xmas gift for my nephew. GREAAATTT GAME!!

It's definitely a unique game and experience, and has a learning curve at the start. Once you get the hang of the pace on everything, the hunt becomes super rewarding and a pulse pounder of an experience (for me).

If you like games like skyrim or the witches 3 then get this game! Great open world game with good action and pretty decent story.

The controls come natural once you get accustomed. Graphics are amazing. The voice over needs work, and can be annoying at times.

Our gamer son, age 18, took about 53 hours to meticulously play through this game, doing absolutely everything possible, at normal difficulty. He made the mistake of letting us watch the beginning, and my husband and I were hooked on the characters and story. Gorgeous visuals. Game play also excellent, I'm told. About half of the play time was storytelling, and we either watched or got updates. Like reading LOTR, all three of us were sad when the game and story concluded. Tolkenesque. Highly recommended.

Not being into shooters, I was worried I wasn't going to like this game. But I had heard great reviews so I tried it. I wasn't disappointed. It's an amazing game. It has amazing worlds. And the story is awesome.

I waited for this game to go on sale before I bought it. I am so glad I did, the story and graphics are awesome. The gameplay is fluid and with the dlc coming soon I will be playing this game for awhile. Buy it!

I haven't played such a great RPG in quite a while. Intriguing plot, excellent graphics and I must say once you start it its hard to put down. If you are feeling for a fresh new RPG experience, this is the one.

In a world where most AAA single-player experiences are open-world, this one stands out above the rest on PS4. Great setting, great mechanics and an unexpected but interesting story. Buy this buy this buy this.

This game definitely pushes the PS4 to its limit graphics wise. The world looks alive and amazing, especially in 4K with HDR. The Combat is fun, engaging, and never gets boring. My only complaint is there are not enough reasons to go exploring all the nooks and crannies of this beautiful world.

I had heard some good things about Horizon: Zero Dawn, but the reviews don't do it justice. This game is beautiful graphically, but it's the gameplay that will draw you in. I've put about 40 hours into the game, but I think I'm only about halfway through. There are numerous side quests and collectibles to search for, but not in a tedious way. The story is interesting and the main missions are challenging without being annoyingly difficult. I think almost everyone would enjoy playing this game.

Very cool setting and concept. Easily one of the best looking games on any console. Story is very intriguing and definitely keeps you interested. My only complaint would be like a lot of open world games the side quests aren't all that interesting. Great game overall with plenty of content.

This game is beautiful. I haven't beat it yet, but the graphics are amazing and the gameplay is easy to use but challenging enough to keep you on your toes each battle. There is no one way to play this game.

If you haven't played this game do yourself a favor and buy it. Stunning visuals, open world, and all around fun.
