Horizon's biggest flaw being released within the same window as Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For a medium that heavily focuses on sequels and fan loyalty, Horizon had little chance of outshining it's far more popular and equally competent rival, which is a shame as both are great games that deserve praise for both doing an open world adventure game but focusing on different aspects (Horizon: gun-play [arrow-play] and story; Zelda: Swordplay and freedom) From a quality standpoint, Horizon knocks everything out of the park. It's a graphical marvel, voicework is superb, gameplay is solid and the story is engaging. I do have a few gripes about the game (all except one man are either incompetent or evil; the game does everything great but nothing exceptional; etc.) but overall Horizon as a package is so well built you'll quickly forget those issues and just enjoy it for what it is.

I purchased this game to play on my ps4 pro and brand new 55" Samsung 4k ks8000 tv. The game is easily one of the best open-world games on the market today, with a great story, amazing graphics, and it's simply just a lot of fun to play. If you are not into open world games and prefer a linear gaming experience like call of duty or other first-person shooters, you may be overwhelmed by the sheer size of this game, but I'd say it's still worth a try.

The game starts out with a few cut scenes. I don't want to give too much away so buy it for yourself and see the power of the ps4 graphics and good game controls make this a must-have

I played this game after playing through Breath of the Wild on the Switch. So, I can't help but compare the two. With that said, while I think Zelda excels in the gameplay department (there's just so much to do), Horizon is much more compelling in the narrative and character development area. If you own a PS4, you owe it to yourself to play this game. If you own a PS4 Pro, the graphics are beyond anything available on consoles at the moment.

This game and its story is very breathtaking. The controls are easy and fluent and the game looks amazing.

This game is pretty fun. It looks great and and it has great action. The story drew me in and is definitely one of my top games for the year. It's a must buy title for PS4 owners.

I had a great time exploring this beautiful action RPG world. It is so big and there's tons of stuff to do. I still haven't quite finished it yet and I got it on the day it came out.

Honestly, if you have the money, buy this game. It has some of the best visuals currently avaliable on a console, and maybe even a PC system so far. The acting, the story, is as original as it is good. Truly an awesome game with a ton of content and things to do. Finished this game with about 75 hours total, so its definitely not a short walk in the park. With the expansion coming out later this year for $15, get this now and enjoy.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. I've been playing it a lot and there is just so much to do. I'm really picky about video games, but this one has it all. Great story line, stunning graphics, and almost flawless gameplay. Most gamers probably don't need this review to know it's worth the purchase. However, if you loved Last of Us, Uncharted, Assasin's Creed, WOW, and games like those then you will not be disappointed by this game.

I loved this game! The visuals are stunning and I just really liked the overall world and the creature designs. Melee isn't the best but this game is more about ranged combat, although you can definitely go stealthy from time to time as well. While some might find the side missions a chore, I enjoyed doing all of them and just roaming around fighting the different enemies. The Frozen Wilds expansion is also recommended.

I sent this message to Guerilla Games once I finished the game. Just completed Horizon: Zero Dawn. Such a beautiful game. I'm totally speechless... Blown away! Not only visually remarkable but it runs flawlessly. The story is profound and engrossing. You have created a world that I want to be immersed in. This game is the reason I play video games! Great game all around from the graphics, to the combat, and on to the story. Can't wait for the sequel!

Doesn't really bring anything new to the genre but it delivers in great fashion. The game is a joy to play, look at, and listen to. Wish I had a PRO + 4K HDR TV to further enjoy it.

Great game! Very fun. Reminds me of the Farcry series, but with more strategy. I liked it so much, I purchased the only DLC available for it and I'm not even 30% through the game.

Take the best parts of Far Cry, Assassin's Creed and even TLOU + an interesting story= one of the best games of 2017. With upgrades for bows, outfits and abilities, the game takes you all the way to the end of the story with lots more to do with side missions. The graphics on the PS4 pro looks mighty nice, probably the best so far. Highly recommended.
