Excellent graphics and fun game play. A definite must to have.

They say imitation is the sincerest for of flattery. This game takes the best elements of other games like Far Cry, The Witcher, and Skyrim and mixes them together to create a truly great gaming experience. The story is engaging. The combat system is fluid and natural. The graphics are some of the best achieved on the PS4 to date. Horizon Zero Dawn has definitely earned its place in my top five list.

Starts off teaching you some of the game skills needed in the game. Looks amazing and plays like Tomb Raider but in a future/past like envirnoments. Very fun!

Incredibly gorgeous game set in a fascinating world and with a great main character. Gameplay systems do a good job of having enough complexity to give you a lot of options, without being so deep that you forget how to play it if you take a few days off. (I'm looking at you, Witcher 3!). Haven't finished it yet, so I can't comment too much on where the story goes, but I'm certainly enjoying it thus far.

Went into this knowing nothing about it aside from the developers reputation. I'm glad i picked this up, loved it even pre ordered the frozen wilds expansion.

Beautiful graphics with an amazing story-line. Unlike most open world games which follows simple formula: Giant map, lots of unnecessary collectibles, structures that when scaled will reveal more of the map, . Horizon is similar but different as well. The map is huge, and full of resources to collect, but they are all important. So many ways you can kill the machines to take necessary parts and so on.

It's safe to say Horizon Zero Dawn is an amazing game. First, it's an entirely new take on the seemingly overdone "apocalyptic future" scenario. It starts off very familiar in that vein but quickly becomes something more. You play as the standard human in a world gone wrong where people no longer utilize technology and have to hunt and gather via bow and arrow. And yet technology is constantly in your face as the predators you have to hunt or avoid are beautifully rendered machines and the ruins of a world that look very much like our own are scattered everywhere. The main character is a young, willful girl that fits my ideal vision of "strong, female protagonist" in almost every way. She's strong but vulnerable at times, intelligent, curious, and witty. Other studios should take notes and emulate. The story is well-crafted and manages to take many unexpected twists and turns as you attempt to discover what happened to the world and who you are. There are the standard discovery quests that flesh out some of this, but you also get more via recordings and discoveries from the world before. And even the "standard" quests often have an element of surprise or just a "wow that was amazing" feel to them. Most parts involve combat of some sort, another system that was very well done, but there's also plenty of discovery. I won't comment on the combat further...I think that's worth figuring out and enjoying on your own.

I was really impressed with this game. Guerilla studios did one he'll of a job. The game play is excellent and the graphics are top notch. There's so much to do in this game. You have your main campaign along with a ton of side quests. You can aquire better weapons and armor as you progress, not to mention the ability to override different creatures. It's the best game on the ps4 since uncharted 4.!

This game is one of my all time favorites. It has beautiful graphics and has exceptional replay value. If you enjoy RPG's you should at least give it a try.

Grab this game while it was on sale but it is worth more than the 60 bucks full price tag. Alot of content and the scenaries in this game is breath-taking.

Love this game!! I did not expect to like it as much as I do, I have logged about 60 hours on this game. Can't wait until the new DLC comes out in November!

Since I bought first PS4 sim, i wanted to get famous game and i found this game. it looked so nice when i watched gameplay. I really love this game a lot!

Beautiful looking game with a great story set in an open world. I was playing this when Zelda BOTW came out with the nintendo switch at launch. Both games were fun with lots to do and explore but I couldn't help thinking how great Horizon Zero Dawn looked compared to Zelda, But in the end, I enjoyed them both. There are plenty of side quests as well and it should keep you busy for quite a while.
