i recently purchased my ps4 and this had to be my first ps4 exclusive. and it did not disappoint.This game just blows me away. The graphics, the story, the mechanics, the gameplay, all so great. If you don't get this game you will regret it. This is definitely Game of the Year.

I really enjoyed playing this game.. while Fanboys of Playstation will say this is GOTY and beats out any "Fairy Boy" I say NAY... It is very imaginative and has a lot going for it.. GOTY it is not.. Horizon Zero Dawn 2--> probably GOTY in the future... they have something unique in this game that isn't found many places, but needs to be polished and built upon in order to surpass any other long time franchises.

This is perhaps one the best games created in the last five years. The graphical realism is second to none, and the interaction between player and character are spot on. In other words, you move --- for the most part --- as you would in real life, and the experience on a mount --- which is technically a machine --- is more realistic than other venues offering mounts that emulate horses and other beasts. I have successfully completed the entire game at EVERY LEVEL, including Ultra-Hard, and still enjoy the challenge. If only this terrific story and concept could be expanded into a multi-player wonderland. It would be a sensation! That said, this game WINS in the ORIGINALITY category --- hands down, and unlike many games that "appear" to be outstanding (like God of War), this one surpasses ALL expectations. Horizon Zero Dawn makes most others games look bad..

This game deserves ever award it will most assuredly win. there is nothing quite like it.

I haven't gotten far into the game but I'm already sucked in. The storyline is intriguing. I already feel a connection to Aloy. The gameplay feels smooth. The voice acting, the environment, the characters, all look and sound amazing. You really feel emersed into this world.

It is one of the best game of this year fun to play and hopefully there is a second one.

Great game for PS4 owners. Impressive graphics and a smooth framerate. The plot, pacing, and character development leave something to be desired, and the combat can become rather formulaic. But its still a pretty fun action rpg/shooter.

Perhaps one of the best games on the PlayStation 4. Everything from combat to exploration is done with a high degree of passion. Combat is fluid and the story will keep you hooked until the end. If you own a PS4 Pro and a 4K television, this is the game you've been waiting for.
