Great game but doesn't have substitles in spanish.

As a fan of RPGs like Skyrim and open world games, this one really holds my attention. It starts out as a kid so the emotional attachment throughout the game is very well done. Along with menacing robotic foes, the story line is great and graphics are stunning. I kind of wish that the answer choices you pick made for a different ending, but at the flip side it's unique in the way you encounter different people throughout your journey instead of having a different ending. This game is creative and has held my attention since I picked it up, which is a feat unto itself! You won't regret picking up a copy of this game.

This game is amazing. Beautiful, intriguing, and the entire set-up is pretty genius. They make you really care about the character and get invested in the story before you seek out the character's backstory, and by then you care so much more since you've had time to get to know the character. Being able to customize your weapons is cool, collecting the skills is cool, being able to RIDE the machines is awesome, being able to override them and watch two giant machines have a death battle as though you're sitting in on an episode of Transformers? Awesome! The only thing that could have made this game better is if you could fly around (override a stormbird and ride it maybe, that would be sweet!). It also would have been cool if the bandits respawned because after you've beat the game, it would be nice to do. With the dlc the Frozen Wilds, man the snow looks amazing, the stories are cool, and the new machines are difficult! Those fireclaws, man. Whew. Seven words: roll AT them to avoid their claws... Anyways, this game is absolutely gorgeous, the storyline is unique and captivating, the main character is pretty much perfection, and it's definitely worth the buy. I could play this forever.

Picked up the CE version. Thought it looked like a fun game from E3 gameplay footage and the maquette looked nice for the price. The maquette was beautiful, but even better the game is amazing, the story well written and the mechanics fun and enjoyable. The crafting, stealth and weapons systems were a welcome surprise and the skill tree was a fun treat. I can not more highly recommend this game for anyone who loves RPGs and/or Open World games.

It’s a great game but it kinda makes me mad you can get it for $16 and I paid $60.

Horizon is a new IP from Guerilla games and within a few hours of gameplay clearly cements itself as not only one of Sony's best first party games to date but one of the best games available on PS4. The world is vast and full of mystery. The gameplay is incredibly satisfying, environments are gorgeous, and taking down large mechanical beasts requires strategy. The story is also sad, inspiring, eerie, and thought provoking at the same time. An amazing start to a sure fire franchise.

they would not let me return broken disc via mail. there is no best buy close enough, I am stuck with a 60 dollar paper weight. thanks Best Buy.

If you like Zelda and open world games you will like this game for sure! I love the story, game play mechanics and graphics! Must buy for PS4 owners.

Horizon Zero dawn is a great Action RPG that does many things well. Many CD Projeckt RED team members had a hand in developing this game and you can feel it. The story is great and I was completely enamored with the lore. I thoroughly enjoyed reading through all of the journal entries and listening to the codecs to fill out even more of the backstory. The combat was varied and quite hectic. There is always so much going on and you very rarely feel safe. A word of caution though. If you do not like feeling completely overpowered by end game be very wary of doing any and all side quests. You will quickly outpace your AI enemies and mop the floor with them. Great story, great lead female character, great graphics and great gameplay.

If you're a fan of Fallout/MGSV/AC or other RPG style games with large open worlds, this is right up your alley. Visually stunning, great story, and honestly refreshingly not overly side-questy. There are just enough side stories and collectibles to be interesting and fun and not get tedious. I loved this game and will be getting the DLC.

I pre-ordered the game with no more knowledge than the product description; just thought that it looked interesting and wasn't sure what to expect. I was completely taken by surprise. The graphics are stunning (HDR, 4K) and the action runs smoothly. I really enjoy the battle concepts used and the RPG-like elements, but most of all, I love the lead character who has been provided with outstanding voice acting, expression, and attitude. Recently, there have been a rash of excellent games that have come out, but I can't stop playing Horizon. Highly recommend.

This game is a perfect example of what games should be like. Not just great graphics (which this does have), but also has an amazing and intriguing story line. Between that and the solid game mechanics its hard to put down the controller. Aloy as the protagonist just works. She has intelligence, personality and drive. The combination of human and machine enemies has a nice balance. This is how I believe open world games should be. There's a good amount of side quests without being overwhelming or getting redundant and boring. The collectables and trophies are attainable and not to the point of wanting to pull your hair out cause of the grind. I definitely would recommend this game. As good as I believe killzone is this is Guerrilla's, dare I say, masterpiece. An exclusive Sony should be proud of. Can't wait to see what Guerrilla does in the second installment.

So far best game I played in a while. Good graphics, good storyline. Grab a copy now. You will not regret it.
