If you like Arcade style racing games, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with this one. There hasn't been too many good Arcade Racers on Xbox recently. Cruisn' Blast recently released for Switch is Excellent, but my Xbox was feeling a little left out in the Arcade Racing Category. Enter Hot Wheels Unleashed..... Pros - Graphics are Excellent, Framerate is Excellent, Cars actually look like hot wheels (pretty cool). - Lots of Hot Wheels Cars to Unlock, Customizable Cars Options are Robust & There's a Crib/Apartment Unlockables available too. - Racing, Drifting, Boosting are all a lot of fun (There is a learning curve, Unlocking & Upgrading Cars is a necessity to win later races) - The tracks are all awesome Hot Wheels inspired tracks, there's lots of shortcuts & variety (some that require you to pull off insane 180's & tricks to take advantage of). - The Electronic soundtrack provides a nice energetic backing to the often insane racing. Cons - The 50 dollar price tag is nice, but when you log into the game, you will see that they have a 30 dollar Unlockable Pack that has a bunch of extra cars & stuff, something that most people will probably be disappointed wasn't included in the original game purchase. This was a bit disappointing because the game could use the extra content out of the gate. - Missing jumps in certain areas can you leave you high & dry. Missing jumps is killer if you play on Normal difficulty or above. Although I love the design of the tracks, they can be obnoxious at times. If you miss a jump, you'll most likely have to tap the Y button to respawn on the race track. This mechanic is pretty standard in most racing games, but if you miss a jump in this game it's almost automatic that you are going to have to restart the race. Missing jumps is often very costly & can be frustrating at times. - This game is probably a few updates away from realizing it's full potential As far as Arcade Racing Style Games go on the Xbox, I'd have to say that this is one of the better ones. It's not Forza Horizon, it's not Cruisn' Blast, but it definitely carves out it's own unique place somewhere in between in the Arcade Racing Genre.

Wow this one suprised me! I have been a Hot Wheels collector and fan since there launch in 1968. I have tried other Hot Wheels Racing Games in the pass and never really been thrilled with what was out there Unleashed just change that the racing is very fun lots to collect car upgrades and much more I honestly would have been happy with this game at full price at only $29.99 on black friday Friday sale I'm completely thrilled Runs and Looks Fantastic on my Xbox Series X.

It's a pretty good arcade racing game full of hot wheels toy cars

Yes its not perfect probably; but I also did not design the game. For the price its packed with various cars and has a roadmap of updates to come. The track creator is vast so you could certainly get lost designing your car and tracks. It’s a bit slow to unlock every car, but so are games like Forza. This game is gorgeous on an OLED screen and the polish is top notch.

This is a fun racing game that is pure nostalgia. The tracks are fun and you can even build your own. you can choose from many cars and you can download different cars and expansion packs.

This game is great albeit a little repetitive. The cars you can unlock in this game are ones I had as a kid. Definitely worth the purchase.
