Friend who bought the same model also had the same issue. Also lock to folding mechanism on both scooters were incredibly difficult to use and also showed signs of poor craftsmanship

I had a really bad experience with this scooter broke in less than 20 days after spending $425 and I called the customer service .Lady gave me a really bad attitude and she hang up before she answer my questions very disrespectful. Now my son is disappointed worried about his scooter if we're gonna be able to return or exchange or not.

The first one started making noises after one week. Took it back and got replacement. The second one broke at the handle bar frame (he wiped out bad). We returned that one and got another one, which started to lose top speed after 1 week. 8 mph was it's best speed. Took it back and tried a Segway, which failed after a week also. We are done with scooters......
