Great scooter! I ride it everyday to work which is about a 3 mile round trip. It says 18.8mph top speed but I've topped out at 24mph.

Fairly easy assembly, putting on the handlebar. The lights are impressive and it rides nicely, my grandson liked it.

Exactly two weeks today, i purchased this product to confirm if the claimed marketing informations and features as advertised by the maker are valid , safe and worth of your every penny. In two weeks of frequent and continuous used of the product features. I HAVE THREE FACTORS THAT YOU MUST CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING THIS MODEL IN THEIR LINENOF PRODUCTS. The first factor is the missing suspension between the front wheels and the bar connected to its handle. Without this missing shock absorber. The full impact of the gravity on was fully absorb on this part of their product. Making it more prone to damage on the products and injury to the operator. Suspension breaks the intensity of the shocks that gives the rest of the parts to bounce to the impact of the shocks. Second factor is the plastic covering the electrical rotator and blade for any kind of debris imthat might interfere it full function located on the front wheel. Without proper installation, it produced annoying sounds destructing the concentration of the operator. A recall on these partbis a must to give them product rooms for a very good and quality performanc. Lastl, it must came up to the idea of its creators of this product to attached a locking system. How will expect a consumers spending a pricy product brand without any kind of lockin/security system. Putting a hole on its body that can easily put the chain for iits security and peacenof mind of the owner a locking system is a a must. BUT WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION. A built in key locking system that will lock the rotator and the blade of the wheel when on its idle mode especially to pulblic places where theft can be avoided. I gave two star on this there product for these two personal inputs I observed while using this brand. Dont worry im about to return it today.

It’s an okay electric scooter. It’s worth the price snd very fun. The only con would be the distance you can go, but can also go very fast depending on your weight.

I love my new scooter, it's my new way of transportation. Carry me to the store and back, the kids loves it too, very fast, good battery power, so far I'm enjoying my new toy!!

18mph you can easily put it in Cruze control and ride no hands rear wheel drive for wheelies and disk breaks with loud tires you won’t be upset

Pretty decent runner, can't handle much of an incline but gets up to 18 or so on flat surface. It is what I expected based on YouTube reviews.

pretty decent electric scooter so far. pretty durable and sturdy in build. only thing wrong i ran across is that the battle life isn't anywhere near what it should be for the max operational range that specs say. going roughly 3.5mi from where i live to where i work in normal mode seems to use roughly half of the charge so need to charge it while at work. couple of times forgot the charge cord and was barely able to get home on the remaining half charge.

1st. issue: Either this was an Open-Box item sold as New, or the manufacturer was negligent because it was supposed to come with 4 handlebar screws (+6 spare screws) but there were only 3 screws total that came in the box. Hover-1 customer support said they'll send the missing screws but still disappointing they couldn't get this right. 2nd issue: I took it for a short ride down two blocks and it's fun but the power is lacking. Going downhill and flat surfaces, it works as advertised but it struggles going up inclines steeper than a typical driveway. I weight a bit more than 160lbs and in slow (level 1) mode, it barely can make it up a slight incline. It does a little better in fast (level 2) mode but not much better. I bought this for my wife, and she's just over a 100lbs so it should do much better with her. She hasn't ridden it yet because we're still waiting for Hover-1 to deliver the missing handlebar screw so she can safely ride it. For $400, and reading the reviews on this site, I expected a lot more from Hover-1 Alpha. I could not recommend this make and model to anyone over 140bls planning to use it on anything other than flat ground.
