He loved it for a little over two weeks, and then the charging prong separated from the rest of the charger. I didn't think that should have happened after such a short time, so I submitted a ticket on Hover-1 's website in hopes that the company would jump at the chance to send a new charger and show that not all of their products are that flimsy. Honestly, even if they had replied saying they wouldn't replace the charger, I wouldn't have been thrilled, but at least I would have had some type of acknowledgement and could have planned how to move forward. Other than the auto-reply saying they received my ticket, I have heard absolutely nothing from them for almost a month. In that time, I've called their customer service line twice and both times received the recording, "Due to high demand, no live representative is available to take your call." I've also emailed [email protected], which only resulted in the same "your ticket has been received " auto-reply. I was going to title this review "Terrible customer service," but that would be incorrect. "Nonexistent customer service" would be more accurate. If your Hover-1 product works perfectly for the duration of the warranty period, then great, but if it doesn't, good luck getting any kind of recourse.

I allowed my kids to practice indoor in winter but after the first crash it stopped working. Then it started working for a day but the one of the wheel overheated and started smelling... like a burning smell. The Left wheel also locks up which makes this a hazard if you are riding while it happens. If you try charging this, it won't receive anything. Do not buy this piece of crap hoverboard. we tried calling the maker but no response.
