    Make sure assembled properly

    Bought it for my 9 year old son for Christmas. The first time he tried to ride it, it scraped the bottom on the sidewalk. One side scraped more than the other, which I thought was odd that riding it on a flat surface would damage the product so much (He weights 78lbs. which is much lower than the 200lb. limit). He rode it a few feet before we heard a loud snap. I opened the bottom of the board and found the bracket that connects the two sides had zero screws set in it. Obviously it wasn't assembled properly and now it's broken.

    I viewed item online it said pickup in 1 hr I was 5 minutes from Bestbuy. I entered store ask associate about said item. The first man said it would be in middle isle I looked didn't find. Jendie the 2nd associate said we're probably out. The 1st associate looked up item said 3 available in store so Jendie proceeded to look and found none. The store website should definitely be updated to inventory available. I understand how quickly things sell out of stock however your inventory obviously isn't accurate

    The customer service was absolutely disgusting. I Brought this hover board for my son for Christmas from the Best buy in Knightdale. They ended up refunding my entire purchase because the purchase,Upon bringing the item back after Christmas day because it did not work. Well because the item was purchased online I had to re-pay for the item and was told that my money that was refunded from the item would be back on my card in 3 to 5 business days THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS!!

    Dead on arrival(DOA). Return process was meh at best. I wasnt offered a replacement just given a refund by a rep who really didn't inform me of anything she was doing and had no idea what DOA meant. The rep told to buy it again when it wasnt on sale at a higher price. I shopped elswhere and got a cheaper working board the 1st time. Not worth the hassle. Buy a better one on amazon.

    My grandson is 12. He went to stand on the board for the first time and the top of the board separated from the frame and just dragged on the ground. They gave me a refund and I ordered a different board and it was suppose to arrive the 29th of Aug. and still waiting. Needless to say it was a birthday gift, which doesn’t look like he’ll get. Should have gotten from somewhere else. Would not recommend.

    Bough it for a cristmas present ann it only lasted a month. Its fullu charge and it wont turn on.

    Birthday day gift failure

    The hover board broke the first time it was used and since it had been longer than 14 days after receiving it, it can not be returned to Best Buy. I will not be buying from Best Buy again.

    Purchased this item for my grandson's Christmas. I was able to give it to him closer to New Year's Day due to family scheduling. I traveled out of the country on January 3rd and while I was gone the hover board went out. Trying to exchange it has been impossible due to the time frame when it needed to be returned. I will not ever purchase from Best Buy again.

    I never write negative reviews but My daughters hoverboard has a recall. The defect has caused her to be thrown off the unit several times when it begins to spin out of control on its own. I have been attempting to reach customer service via email (because that is the only option) for several months with no response. I’m super frustrated and disappointed.
