    DO NOT BUY ... I purchased one in July. By Aug it no longer worked , exchanged it for another and in two weeks it no longer worked , exchanged it again and it worked for about 6 weeks then I couldn’t exchange or return because it was out of the return window. We tried to call the company for the one year warranty and got the run around until we said forget it (which is what I’m sure they wanted considering their behavior) so now we are stuck with a hover board that the kid can’t use and was only used a few times LITERALLY (used indoors only too)

    I was a bit disappointed because this device was repackaged. First I open it and it smells like a burnt motor coming outta the box. Second, the side of the wheels was scratched on both ends. I powered it on to see if it will lite up it did. But too afraid to activate it. Seem not new at all. Third, they put a seal sticker so the box looks brand new. Who are you kidding? My kids were excited to have this not anymore.

    Treat anything from best buy and H1 as fresh fruit you must open immediately or they won't give you a refund/exchange. this was completely dead when i opened it and wouldn't hold a charge. called local burlington store and asked if they'd exchange/help me out even though i bought it technically 6 months ago. they said yes. come on in. drove there at 8pm friday night and kid said if i didn't open it (how would i know it wasn't working?), he may consider but no luck. left it at the store. figure i'll get my value back by warning others. open immediately or don't buy from H1 or bestbuy

    Arrived after Christmas which was disappointing. I allowed the board to charge all day, and was so disappointed (again) when turned it on and a back light didn’t work. Took it in to a store - it will be more than a month before I get the new one.

    Bought this for my son for Christmas. The frame cracked the second day of use. He barely stopped by the curb and the wheel well was toast. It was on learner mode so he wasn’t going fast at all. Super disappointed in the quality.

    Device stopped charging after 10 rides; contacted manufacturer and they informed us there is nothing they can do. Buyer be ware.

    I looked around for a hover board for my 8 year old son and came across this one. He has a cheap one from Amazon that he does great on, but wanted something with all the bells and whistles. I ordered this online, had my father pick up, and within a half hour of him riding it (with elbow pads and helmet mind you) he lost control and fell off and broke his upper arm. After the fact, we were looking at the box and it states right on there "14 years and up". No where on the website does it state that, only has a max weight capacity. This is something that should be stated online as well. Might have saved my son a broken arm and me a very expensive doctor's bill.

    I bought this item in November last yr for a Christmas gift to my son. During the holidays we all got the flu, recovered and went to visit family. We came back mid January. Due to weather my son is not able to use it alot. He used it approx 3 times riding it out and now it wouldnt charge. Bestbuy is absolutely terrible when it comes to returns/exchange. Needless to say they wont take it for an exchange. I paid $200 for this and my son used it 3 times on our street.

    Both had defective batteries

    I ordered 2 - they both have defective batteries. Connect via app and you can watch the battery go from 100% to 60/70% within 5 minutes of light riding. Hover-1 took >3 weeks to get back to me saying the batteries had defective cells and referred me to their parts website to order (at my cost) replacement batteries (which arent available on their site) on my week old hoverboard. Going to return mine. It was fun to learn and fun to use while it lasted.. I would go for bigger wheels next time to handle acorns and cracks in pavement better.

    It’s only been 3 weeks and the self balancing mode is not working properly- after spending 250.00 dollars I would think it would have better performance. Very disappointed in the product

    4 months old. Beeping and throwing my son off of it. I reached out and was told that the 90 day warranty was over. No extended warranty, no support. Why would someone spend so much money on a product not backed by company just months after purchase? I’m not asking for free repairs, I’m looking for some support. Not from this company. Buy a razor or 4 of them

    Bought two of these total. First one worked well and still works. Bought a second one which stopped working after a week of use. Unfortunately the second one was a gift and because of the weather, it's been over 90 days since we purchased it, even though it's only been out of the box for a week. Hover-1 support won't offer any assistance at all because it was purchased over 90 days ago.

    Purchased as a Christmas gift, BestBuy was supposed to ship by Dec. 4, after following up with them on Dec. 19 they informed me that they would not be able to fulfill the order (no reason could be given). They didn't offer to replace it with another model of my choice or any other form of concession for the mess up. Instead, I'm left in the lurch to find a replacement gift. Just stick with shopping at Amazon.

    Purchased the Hover-1-H1 at Christmas. My son only used it 4-5 times & one side stopped working. Since then I have been trying to contact Hover to use the warranty, but they will not respond to the emails I sent. There is no phone number listed to call. My boy liked the scooter until it broke. Will update review if Hover ever makes things right.
