Do not buy. Purchased for Christmas gift, Died 3 days after return policy. Grapevine, TX Store is useless and no compassion to make exception. Told me to call mfg support, 7 days no response even though they state response within 1 day. Found lots of people with issues on FB.

LOVED the hoverboard. It was perfect for my 12 year old. Then after about ten months, it died. After doing some research, we found out it was a dead battery (it's a rechargable). The product manual says you can't replace the battery. So, our Christmas present is gone. It's so frustrating. Now I don't know whether to replace it if all hoverboards are so temporary.

I received the H-1 Origin for Christmas. I’m 54 and this is my first experience with any “self balancing” device. It took a few minutes to get somewhat comfortable on the board but after that it was full speed ahead. I’d suggest for beginners to wear one wrist guards and a helmet ..... you will fall and if it’s backwards, well then you’ll be glad you had that stuff on. I found it challenging and fun to ride. Started with small controlled movements in an open tennis court and then to straight line runs on a pathway. The Origin seems well built and feels solid. Performance is very powerful and very responsive. My learning stumbles did cause some minor scuffs along the bottom edges and one high speed dismount sent the board rolling over its own fenders and a cause a few “seasoned” marks. I spent the rest of the day on it without incident. I was able to hit top speed (indicated by the built in beeping alarm) and listen to some ZZ Top via the Bluetooth speakers. I rode for several hours throughout the day and the battery never turned red. If the battery life holds up to description like the rest of the system has, it’ll last quite awhile. I’m very satisfied with my H-1 Origin board and recommend it to anyone...you’ll love it!

Purchased for my sons birthday...arrived on Tuesday and stopped working by Wednesday night. Very disappointing.

My son only used this for a month before the charging port stopped working

Stopped working after 1 day of use. We got it for Christmas for our 7yr old son. He used it for 1 day on December 25th. It started beeping non-stop, then we drained the battery, tried to charge it again. The adapter turned green but the board was just dead.

This device is garbage! waste of money, now I have to deal with the company ...I wish Best Buy had at least 30 days return for Christmas time purchases. Though I did purchase it on black friday, the item did not get used until xmas day.

Worked for about 2 hours. Plugged in charger and will not charge, error. No number for the service or manufacturer on their website.

Have been in charger for few hours and the hoverboard will not turn on. Will be going to the store for an exchange or refund. Hopefully, the next one I get will not have an issue.

The hoverboard was great while it was still functioning. Now it just beeps with errors even after we do the calibration function. We just heard from the manufacturer that it's not covered under warranty so we have a USELESS PRODUCT.

We only had it for less than a month and the board is now tilted to one side. Very disappointing as it was so expensive.

Returned it as there was no stabilizer for the item and was not value for new riders to learn

My balance is not good enough. As a former skier( Great product ) --- but not for me at 83.

It is really good at flats surfaces my kids love it and me too. I weigh 210 pounds. Bluetooth it's cool But I got the 2 years plan just in case if something happens.

Bought the Hover-1 Orgin for my 11 year old for Christmas. He absolutely loves it and even my 20 year old enjoys using it. The problem is that the Bluetooth never worked and we’ve been trying to resolve the issue for over a week now. If you buy this product, cross your fingers that nothing ever goes wrong with it or you will have a hard time getting the issue resolved. The company does not have a phone number so everything is done via email. It takes the company days to respond to one email so if you reply to a question they have, it will take them days to reply back. At this rate, it will be next Christmas before we get it fixed. I also hate the fact that it scratches so easily. My kids rode up and down the street twice the 1st day they got it and when we looked at it after going back inside, it looked like they’ve had it for 10 years. This is the only reason why I haven’t just given up on Hover-1’s tech support and taken it back to BestBuy.

It’s excellent electric skateboard. I bought one for muy daughter and apart from the fun it helps her to excercise

While my kids love zipping around my house on these. They are super dangerous and when running low on a charge will spin uncontrollable. My wife and daughter hurt their foot trying to stop it and it ruined my walls. I would not recommend.
