The great thing about this cartridge is that you only need to replace the yellow if your yellow is low. I am glad that some of the printers have separate cartridges.

This ink works great, but the yellow seems to run out so quickly. I wish I could get these to hold about 4 times the amount of ink! I know there is a 2X version, and would recommend it to anyone printing in color or printing photos :)

Wow, it is really great ink. We have had this printer for a while, and it has been great. But reviewing ink seems kind of silly. What can I say, "it prints."

Have used this ink with plain, bond and photo paper. Brilliant color, does not smudge and color stays vibrant. Depending on the amount of color you use, it would be nice if it could handle more volume. Overall a good value for the price.

Cartridges are easy to swap out when empty. Having multiple color cartridges a bonus over one big color cartridge. You can replace individual ones as needed

When you are doing quality printing you need to use manufacturer's products. Off band ink is OK but when you absolutely need the best output use HP ink.

wish you carried all the colors and not just the prime ones

I purchased this ink thru the website. It arrived, but didn't look at it at the time since I didn't need to replace the yellow cartridge in my printer. When I finally went to put this new cartridge in, I found out it actually expired in 2012. I didn't purchase this until 2016. Since it was way past the return date there was nothing I could do about it. I don't know why Best Buy would even keep an ink cartridge around that expired years ago. They should have just said it was no longer available. Most Ink cartridges have an expiration date about 2 years out.

HP makes a really good yellow ink for HP printers.

Ink Cartridge lasts for a long time and it gives great color when printed on paper even when the paper is not the highest quality.

As is the case for most printer ink, this is expensive. However it does produce nice quality prints.
