We brought this chrome book for our son for virtual learning this year. We are an Apple family but I couldn’t see my self buying my son a MacBook. It’s definitely different from a MacBook. But it does it’s job for school. The screen is super dull/foggy like. Comparing it to my MacBooks brightness. All in all great price and it does its job. I will be buying another for my 1st graders. I also liked the fact that this is a newer model. Just released in June 2020

Bought this laptop for my 8yr old for school. Works good so far and seems to be holding up well.

I have had NO computer at home for two years and don't need much. Mostly use it for internet, occasionally need for word processing. The thing I LOVE about this is that it doesn't come preloaded with ANY apps. This is a HUGE bonus to me. Other similar things I've purchased in the past had lots of things already loaded that I didn't use and couldn't uninstall. This one I can load only apps I want. Huge, huge plus for me.

Just right for our shool's fifth grade requirement. It had to be a Chromebook, which was new to us. There was a little trouble with google profiles, but figured it out. The device seems like it will work well. My daughter loves it. You probably need the wireless mouse to buy separately. You might consider an SD card to supplement the storage. No issues so far.

Overall my experience is positive, especially for the price. Standby batter life is fantastic, it loses about a % a day. Web browsing and writing work well, and the keyboard feels nice. The touch pad is a bit clunky, the top requires more force to register a click. Some actions take a bit of time such as launching play store for the first time and updating apps.

I was unaware that chrome books came without windows, so I returned it. Other than that windows issue, this chrome book was efficient and easy to use.. I bought it for my hubby who is not tech savvy at all, but he managed to learned to use it quick with very little assistance. Unfortunately, he needs a windows operating system for his dj equipment.
