I impulse-bought this Chromebook on sale for $169. This was an excellent deal for what you get. If you're looking for a workhorse where you can multitask with several apps open + a bunch of browser tabs, this probably isn't the Chromebook for you. This machine is better suited for light internet browsing, e-mail, or watching movies. This one is not the right fit if you truly need a lot of productivity out of it. I did a Zoom call on it after purchasing, and lag was noticeable if I tried to do something else in the background while also on Zoom. Be wary if you plan to use this for that! The display on this Chromebook is nice and clear. It feels nice to type on, and I'm not noticing any keyboard issues. Audio is clear and decent, though it's not going to be spectacular sound quality at this price point. There are also two USB-C ports, two standard USB ports, an audio/microphone jack, and an SD card slot. All great! Also, this is super lightweight in addition to the 11.6" screen size, so it is extremely portable. I can see myself taking this with me on the go instead of another Chromebook I have, which has more power & a larger screen but is also heavier! Battery life is also really good. As for the look/feel...everything is plastic, but on the lid, there is a shiny silver HP logo which looks really premium. I don't think this feels very cheap even though it *was* cheap, all things considered. This would make a wonderful first laptop for a kid or teenager. Adults will also enjoy it if they keep expectations of it in check and realize it might not be that great for professional uses beyond e-mail. (I'm 35). Overall, highly recommended! Just remember to keep your expectations in check and you'll really enjoy this Chromebook. Wait for it to be on sale for $169 for the best deal.

This little computer is the best. I use it almost every day, and it works like a charm. I can go almost a full week on one battery charge. It comes with almost everything you need to get things done. You don't need a lot of memory, because I store everything on the web. I haven't tried it offline yet so I can't answer how it will work then.

I bought this chromebook for my grandson who is in kindergarten. It is excellent for any adult to use, but easy enough for a five-year old. He can do virtual school on it and still watch any of his movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, etc. without using the family TV. It has great clarity and a long battery life. He serves all his computer needs.

Perfect for my 7th and 8th grade boys! We needed something at home that would give our boys an opportunity to be better prepared for school, improve their typing skills, and still be able to keep an eye on their online activity. This little machine did all that, and didn't break the bank. We were told when we purchased it wouldn't last forever, but if we can get 2 years use, I'll be satisfied. Glad we made this purchase.

It seemed to be well suited to the online programs that our school was using to do online schooling for our kids. Almost like it was preprogrammed to be ready to start school. The price was very good for younger kids who don't need a lot of computer but just enough to get them by. It will also last them a few years once they really need to start using computers even after going back to in the classroom learning

Was trying to figure out what the best option was going to be for me after deciding to return to college. I'm not a tech savvy kind of person, so, I needed a device that was easy to set up and to operate and without too many bells and whistles. This HP Chormebook was definitely the right choice.
