Pretty ideal for school in the pandemic

So far, so good overall. Took very little time for kids to slow it down, and has had some connectivity to our WiFi (and we know it's not the router). However, Family Link is great, and overall, definitely meeting our needs.

Purchased for my Grandson for virtual schooling. Works as advertised and performance is OK for elementary school work. We use an external monitor as internal screen has only marginal resolution. Bought this one based on HP reputation and price.

great for web browsing not for zoom

Great for students

He has video calls with his teacher and the camera is great! He does all his assignments online and finds it very easy to work on. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a chromebook for your children to do school work it’s a great alternative from getting an expensive laptop!

Problems with BestBuy Download

I also want able to download the purchased Office package via the Best Buy site in time for my trip. Not certain why the BestBuy email didn’t match the website (kept saying I had no downloads). VERY annoying!!!! Was ready to return the system.

HP - 11.6 Chromebook

Transitioning from a laptop to a Chromebook, has been a tough adjustment, as many of the keys one is used to are not their. Otherwise, they seem to have been a good cost effect unit for those that just use the basics.

Another issue that I see is that my son gets logged out a lot and I have to put the password in. We have other chrome books and that has never happened.

Very useful light-duty alternative to a laptop

It is a Chromebook, though, so just be aware it doesn't run Windows and you won't be disappointed.

Great device if on sale
