i had only a few hrs to fix the replacement since the required papers were required that same day. my fear was that if it did not work, then i would have to explain why and be put on hold, waiting for the red tape to give me a clear.

After being misquoted in the local Best Buy store a price of over $100 for this item, I went on line and it was much less. Also, very quick timing on the shipping without having to pay a premium for fast delivery.

It has worked since we installed it 3 months ago. No issues. I would imagine that HP is no longer manufacturing these cartridges but this one had obviously been sitting around somewhere for a while. The literature in the box was faded and dated. But once again it works. Old could be better then refilled???
