This computer is very easy to use and very light weight.

I got two of these for Christmas, one for my 15 year old son and the other for my 13 year old daughter. The white color gives it a rich look. The screen quality is amazing and the screen size as well. My kids love them and use them almost every single day. Couldn’t have picked a better one :)

The only downfall is that you must have a google email account in order to enjoy all of the features it has to offer. I love the apps and security that comes with it. This is the best value for its price.

Great laptop for the price, blousy beware that since it is a chrome book it can’t use certain things like Microsoft Silverlight. I ended up needing to it for a web extension ($10/mo) to be able to use Silverlight...which is obviously super annoying.

Obviously this is not the top of the line model. So, if you are looking for a Chromebook with all of the bells and whistles, then this is not for you. But my kids said that this is similar to the ones that they use at school and it meets their needs for school assignments.

(If you don't know what a Chromebook is all about, and how they differ from a Windows or Mac OS laptop, then read up on that BEFORE considering ANY Chromebook.) Build quality is quite good and appears sturdy having used it now for about a month. Video quality is adequate for general browsing, Netflix and the occasional game. Sound from the built-in speakers is decent for what you're getting (of course, no awards from anything this size.) The 4G RAM / 32G storage are perfectly fine for having 2-3 apps open simultaneously and considering you're going to be using the cloud for most of your storage. Battery life is not quite as good as other units, but still, at 7-8 hours, fine for my purpose. Got it on sale at $119 and was a steal. Even at the more recent price of $169, I would still recommend. Not designed for the power user but a good meat-and-potatoes Chromebook.

I bought two of these, and my wife bought a third one. We are familiar with Chromebooks and use them whenever possible. These are simple but decent devices. The 14" size is a nice mid-point, making it portable but easy enough to get work done on the screen. The screen is mediocre. I have a chromebook with a much better screen for my work and for whenever I'm going to be in front of the screen for a number of hours. But, for relatively short sittings, this screen is fine. I got a great $119. deal on Black Friday, and the price really made this a steal. One of the devices had problems starting, but a quick exchange was easy at BestBuy. If you know what you're getting and this device satisfies your needs, I highly recommend it!

Easy set up. User friendly, kid friendly. Durable.

Perfect tool for what i was looking to use it for and got it for a decent price. This is my first chromebook and am satisfied with how well it functions. I'm still an Mac guy, but for the price and what I needed it for, I wasn't going to spend over $1k for a little traveling tool.

I purchased a cpu from amazon for my son’s birthday and it was the tiniest thing I’ve ever seen and it had an Android OS. I hated it! So I purchased the chrome book it still sucks because I’m a windows man but is a little suckier than the one from amazon.

Purchased for our kids (middle school) - they already use Chromebooks and Google classroom in school. Good for general browsing, touchpad does not work sometimes(will need mouse to operate)

Still learning the system but so far it is easy to learn easy to use as I said still learning a lot of things about it because I don't use it a lot because I work a lot but pretty much review is pretty good I know a couple of people that have the same system

This is my first Chromebook. I purchased 3 of this model because my children are homeschooling this year. I went with these versus laptops so that I could control what they access more. That is one of the positives. I like that I can regulate a lot of what they use their devices for. One of the things that I dislike is how inconsistent Google is with their apps for their devices. For example, I saw that certain older models can utilize the Kindle app... this one cannot. I'm sure that it will eventually and we can use the Kindle online, but it is a little frustrating not knowing from one device to another what it can or cannot do until you use trial and error. The other feature that I am not impressed with is the Bluetooth. I bought a wireless mouse for each one but they have to sync it every time because the Bluetooth does not save the device.

Do your research. A quick Google dive never hurt anyone...as long as you know what a Chromebook is you won’t be disappointed. You can do everything on this. You can do work, schoolwork, Office Suite, YouTube, Netflix etc. Love the EOL date is so far out, love the display size, and the ease of use. Great for anyone.
