During these uncertain times most schools are going to remote learning and Google classroom seems to be the best service out there for schools to use and upload other learning software and programs. It’s also very easy for children to use. They are being integrated into these Google classroom at school.

Worked well for what it was

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TLDR: sturdy, can't download some programs due to chromeOS, low ram so zoom didn't work super well, otherwise reliable for accessing the internet. Chromebook worked great for my first two years of college. Display is clear and bright, sound is loud enough for what I need it to do. At some point in my summer 2021 semester, the display wouldn't turn on when I opened the laptop. The sound would work, but I would see nothing on the screen. This only happened sometimes, and I could sometimes get it to turn on by holding the power + refresh button or lightly hitting the base of the laptop. For $200, it got the job done for two years. Another thing to note is that chromebooks only allow you access to chromeOS. A program I needed for school couldn't be downloaded onto chromeOS, so take that into consideration. Also, Zoom didn't work well due to the low RAM. I mostly used my chromebook for acessesing google docs to write papers and take notes in class, but if you need more than that, you might want to consider another laptop.
