We ordered this laptop for my mother. The ease of doing business from home was great click, read the reviews and order. I received updates on my phone and email as to the status and when it was ready to pick up. The staff were very nice and professional at the Riverdale store. Very helpful

We bought this so our child could connect to his school using Google infrastructure (Google Classroom). This thing is seamless...super easy to use, and so far is durable enough!

This laptop is good overall, but it heats up a lot. After few minutes you won't be able to put it on your lap and work. I use it for the work and connect it with external monitor and it works good. The battery is not that good.

It's my backup laptop. I've had it for a while, but I have confidence in it, to know that it will be effective as a go-to piece when my daily laptop develops some quirk. It's smaller than I prefer, but that's ok because it's a backup.

Very inexpensive but still works well with lower end specs. No touch screen or rotating screen on this one, but to use just as a laptop for browsing and simple tasks it's quite capable. Having two USB-C and A ports is also a nice feature.

The majority of digital learning for my son is Schoology and it works on a google platform perfect! The Chromebook made it easier and everything is compatible, making it less rigid for my son to go through assignments using multiple applications. A+ for the Chromebook.

Bought this for my Adult Son, who is computer challenged and doesn't want to learn. Says he knows enuf.... It's easy on internet is perfect and the saved memory - saves mine. No more "how do I" or "I don't remember my user name"....the quiet is beautiful........

Great beginner's computer. Super fast bootup! I wish it came with an appropriate manual. If I were buying again, and at some point I will, I'd spend a couple more dollars and get a lighted keyboard and touch screen.

This laptop is perfect! I love the Chrome operating system! It works so much better as a standalone, instead of always butting heads with the windows operating system. They were never really that compatible to begin with, but this makes it so much easier to do everything!

Pros: Not as big as a laptop; Fast boot up; automatic update notifications Cons: Gets really hot on the bottom when playing games. Got burnt the second day I had it.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew as he is going to start ELearning for this next schoolyear, and the quick load times on everything as well as having this chromebook in general has all the things he needs in order to do all his projects successfully !

Bought as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old. She used it daily with no complaints. Unfortunately the charger stopped working after 6 months. Didn't purchase the warranty so it's an out of pocket fix.

Bought this as a Christmas gift on cyber Monday. Got a great deal but did not realize Best Buy’s extended return period around the holiday did not cover most electronic devices. I did not expect this to be an issue but when my daughter opened, there was clearly a screen glitch with horizontal lines running across intermittently. I suppose I should have opened and tested but assumed a brand new product would function properly. While I can accept that Best Buy has a stated policy I am disappointed with HP for selling defective merchandise. It definitely spoiled the moment and now I’m left needling to deal with HP warranty. Next time I will likely buy a different brand and pay more attention to return policy.

It's fine, but it's kinda hard to see what's on the screen under varying angles. I don't think I'd buy another, but I wasn't displeased enough to return it, soooooo

I have two accounts on it , one for myself and ine for my grandson. I like the family feature. If he should winder off to sites not age appropriate i get a notification. It has been working great. I use the port hook printer straight to it .

I purchased this for my son in elementary school. It works very well. The only thing that's a bit hard to get used to is the mouse pad. There are no buttons and it makes it difficult to select and drag and drop.

This is the perfect computer for our kids’ as they enter middle & high school to do their Google Classroom for school. It is simple, affordable, so far reliable. I’m sure we’ll upgrade for the upper classroom years, but this helps them have their own workspace set up.

This was a purchase for my 12 year old, who has ADHD, difficulties concentrating and focusing in a large setting. since having his own computer, and can browse, search, or google past lessons, his grades came up tremendously! Excellent investment!

The laptop was kind of okay. Like you could do normal stuff with it like watch youtube, use the search engines and stuff but I had a problem with the right clicker. I could not right click on anything and it was annoying. I was later told that the storage size wasn't enough for a college student and that AMD is a terrible ram. It's not the greatest when it comes to using it as a student but for normal use, it's okay. First time using a Chromebook and it will be the last time.

Works great for what I needed. Screen is the primary problem - no good angles for viewing. Would strongly suggest connecting an external monitor for best results.
