Not Compatible with Windows, Despite Claiming So
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched this product extensively prior to purchase and even inquired in store as to whether I could use the Google nation products that I love (Gmail, Google Calendar) with the Windows empire products that I need for my work (Word, Excel). Note the basic nature of my tech needs, people! But despite assurances to the contrary, you cannot run Windows products well on this device. 2 hours of phone time with tech support just to return this 2 days later = ugh!

Excellent Chromebook

I purchased them a few ASUS small Win 8 laptops that are completely bogged down with Windows 8 and under powered hardware. This Chromebook outperforms my expectations. Its quick, light weight, allows offline work, and each member of the family logs into their respective Google accounts. Chromebooks are limited, but do very well with what they are asked to do ... browse web, email, Google docs/office, YouTube, etc. I purchased an open box and got a deal, but well worth the $230-250 price tag.
