This is my second Chromebook from Bestbuy (acer 11 inch) I wanted a second bigger Chromebook for on line music lessons so I bought the Toshiba Chromebook 2 2gb model. Was not impressed with the Toshiba, Did not like the loose clicky, touchy track pad and the font and icons were super small (and as far as I can tell not adjustable). So I returned the Toshiba. A few weeks later I was dropping off off some old electronics for recycling (thanks Best Buy!) and decide to look at the Chromebooks again. The HP 14 was on sale for $ 199.95. It had decent reviews so I went for it. I am really happy with the build quality and the icons and font are much bigger. Charges really fast and battery life is impressive.I got a great deal but I think even at $ 249.95 it feels like a nicer machine than the 2gb Toshiba 2. Very happy so far.

My daughter has an awful record with electronic devices and realizing that nearly all of her current computing needs revolved around web browsing and Google Docs, I felt that rather than spending a lot on yet another MacBook, she could get by with a MUCH more economical solution like a Chromebook. The BestBuy location I went to had only a couple choices, but this one seemed like the better of the two. It's very lightweight and starts up quickly, as a Chromebook should. While she initially balked at the idea of having less than a "full computer," after a day of giving it a try she came to realize it is all she needs to do her work, just as most people will. Unless you actually use desktop apps, you (or your kids or your older parents) too could probably accomplish much of what you need to with a Chromebook like this one.

Printing in the real world was a real problem. Also software is limiting. Great battery life, size/weight and price, but wish we would have just got a cheap pc laptop instead.

great for surfing internet. light weight. U need to have a google cloud enabled printer. Does not work with regular printers.

If you are looking for a chrome book for everyday use this is a great one. I use my for occasional perusing the internet but mostly for paying and checking on bills. This one is light and easy for me to use. Also has a bigger screen and keyboard then the usual chrome book so is good for typing as well as watching videos.

Great system for the price. Does more then expected.
