It's slow, most of the games will not play. They will download to eat up your memory but you cannot play them. I went through 2 brand new ones before I got this one and the man at Best Buy had to go do something to it before it would work. They will not install their own operating system. You will only be able to sign on as a guest. Which means you can't set up anything that requires an administrator. I was and am very disappointed in the computer.

This HP chromebook is great. The keyboard is a little stiff yet, as you use it they soften up.

We got this for our son just to get him access to school stuff and to get him typing more and just the basics. He NEVER uses it since it is just so slow! I would recommend to spend more and get something that will be used. I should have known, you really do get what you pay for.

I bought the unit as a backup for my daily driver laptop. I was disappointed. The hardware is on par with other laptops available on the market. I HATE the keyboard layout of the Chrome OS. I am accustomed to a standard, USA English keyboard, and this machine drove me nuts. I ended up replacing the operating system with Fedora Linux and hacking the keyboard layout to make it usable for me. Now it sits unused in a bag because it's just too much trouble to mess with.

Hp chromebook works well specially if you need it for office use

I love everything about Best Buy’s in and out service and the computer is so awesome

It's cheap for sure, but to make up for the pretty small screen, they did away with the number keys on the right. That means there are no Delete, Page Up, Page Down, Home or End keys. The picture quality is ok, not great, and the sound is bad unless you use earphones. Also, the calculator doesn't even have a percent key, etc., etc. It's sort of like a Fisher-Price Chromebook. Even the Acer I bought four years ago was better than this.
