HP Chromebook bites the dust

Bought this end of January 2025

Took it into Best Buy at the end of June to have a geek squad check it out and they said there’s nothing they can do and I would just have to purchase another computer. Which I will not be buying at Best Buy.

My new Chromebook

I’m still learning how to use it, as I have never owned a Chromebook before. It is lightweight which is a plus. The letters on the keys are light in color and I would prefer them to be darker!

Terrible Customer Support

I transferred all by files and information from my old Chromebook and all was good. A week later I opened my new Chromebook and everything was gone. I tried to reset the new Chromebook no luck. I called the Geek Squad and all the wanted to do is sell me $149 service package for a $169 laptop. Needless to say I returned the laptop.

Junk.. look elsewhere

I have spent the whole afternoon online, on phone, on HP support and anywhere else I can find help to no avail.. I've tried all the recommended solutions and when I *try* to connect to my home wifi I get the error message "bad password" and I am one of hundreds or even thousands of people w/this problem.. Google it and you'll see..
