Do not buy this I literally have only had for 4 months now and it’s already acting crazy. I know it’s not the best computer but it doesn’t even fall under being return. It’s just crazy. Just spend the money on a nice computer.

I recently got my hands on the HP 14" Chromebook in Modern Gray from Best Buy, and after using it extensively for the past few weeks, here's what I've observed. Pros: Performance: Powered by Intel Celeron, this Chromebook is perfect for my daily browsing, emails, and streaming needs. Web pages load quickly, and multitasking is a breeze with its 4GB of memory. Storage: The 64GB eMMC storage is more than sufficient for my needs on a Chromebook, and it ensures fast boot-up times and application launches. Design: The Modern Gray finish gives it a sleek and contemporary look. It's lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry around or fit in my bag. Battery Life: For a day-to-day device, its battery life is commendable, lasting me through most of the day on a single charge. Cons: Camera: While it's adequate for casual video calls, I wish it was a bit clearer for those important meetings or virtual family gatherings. Sound Quality: It's sufficient for regular use, but for a richer audio experience, I pair it with external speakers or headphones. Overall Experience: Overall, this HP Chromebook has proven to be a valuable addition to my tech lineup. It's perfect for those who want a reliable, fast, and stylish device without breaking the bank. The Chrome OS is user-friendly and syncs seamlessly with my Google account, making it a plug-and-play experience. Would I recommend it to others? Definitely! Especially for students or professionals looking for a budget-friendly yet efficient laptop for everyday tasks. Kudos to Best Buy for offering such a gem!

I recently purchased this Chromebook, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in several key areas. The slim profile and lightweight construction make it incredibly portable, perfect for students, professionals, or anyone on the go. The matte finish not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also helps in resisting fingerprints and smudges. This Chromebook handles multitasking with ease. Whether you're running multiple tabs in Chrome, streaming videos, or using productivity apps like Google Docs and Sheets, the performance remains smooth and responsive. One of the standout features of this Chromebook is its impressive battery life. On a single charge, it easily lasts up to 10 hours with regular usage, which includes web browsing, video streaming, and document editing. This makes it an excellent companion for a full day of work or classes without needing to carry a charger.

This is my first experience with a Chromebook and I got this one for a great price. Things I like: - Simple to use - A quick way to get online for web browsing - lightweight - battery life Things i wished were better - not sure if it is an HP thing or Chromebook - Had to reset to factory settings and configure it again. Might be related to being an open-box deal - no right click button. Have to press a key and click to do a right click - limited space to install apps. - Streaming video is not great, but good enough. I'd recommend this for folks looking for a way to web browse. Much easier to work between multiple browsers windows than a tablet.

This chromebook is a value all it's own. It boots up fast, with no issues. It works for everyday computing. The graphics are crisp and sharp, not hard on the eyes. The screen is 14 inches and is easy to read. The Chrome app is awesome, it works flawlessly and is easy to navigate. I was surprised that I was able to restore all of my bookmarks from a computer that died recently. That was a plus that I didn't expect, thought I would have to redo them from scratch. It is a lightweight laptop, easy to carry around. It doesn't have a cd-rom drive, but you really don't need it since it streams shows and videos. The battery lasts all day, it doesn't lose power in a matter of hours, like other computers batteries. I charged it, then unplugged it overnight, and it still had 18 hours of charge left this morning. This laptop is a choice that I am happy with, I recommend it to those who like Google Chrome OS.

Needed a small lightweight laptop for vacations and travel. My home laptop has a large screen. Awkward and heavy. As we all know smaller is better when travelling. My new HP 14" Chromebook fits the bill perfectly. Fast processing, the display is great, and the battery life is excellent. And no need to worry about malware and spyware. Chromebook has got you covered. If you travel often consider a Chromebook. Best travel purchase I have made this year.

This is my first Chromebook. I wasn't certain what to expect but although I've only had it a few days so far it's kinda blowing me away in a good way! I started with PC's in the late 1990's but when Windows 8 came out I HATED it and in those early days I was the early adopter of everything. After Win 8 I transitioned fully to the APPLE world. I'm "all in" with the Mac Mini desktop, iPhone, iPad now. I did intend to upgrade all of my apple items a few years ago but when the Apple moved from Intel to their own M chips, I waited. I don't do the "early adopter thing" anymore and like to wait until new tech is well tested and proven to be what they promise to be... This is why I still I have an OLD Macbook - first and only I purchased brand new. I only recently updated the other Apple stuff, and with my most recent upgraded iPad I'm using that more like a laptop. I wasn't really looking for another laptop since it's working well for me... and THEN with my focus on security this Chromebook is likely going to be the closest I get to an actual laptop for now. Cool that it's SOOOOO affordable! I'm proficient with both Windows and Apple platforms and as I understood Chromebooks, they're a stripped down device without storage... Wasn't sure what to expect - but in our world of hacking and security issues, I decided to give a CHROMEBOOK a try. I thought I would benefit from the WALL that a Chromebook provides for those everyday times that I do things innocently - things THESE DAYS that you have to reconsider, that might put me at risk for hacking. I've done a LOT of new protocols over the last couple of years, that include using ONE TIME USE apps for using my credit/debit cards, and have changed to encrypted emails and such. In reading about the superior built in protection of Chromebooks - added to the low entry price for buying one - I started to think that using this might add a good layer of protection to keep my more costly working devices safer and protected. With this device I've set up new email - from GMAIL since a CHROMEBOOK is a Google connected device plus an encrypted email too. I now can send email to myself if it is from someone I don't know - but that looks interesting - so that I don't risk opening them on my other devices. I mean, even AT&T and other large companies are reporting being hacked these days. You just can't be too careful. What is impressive is the Chrome Friendly apps that practically function like actual programs! This particular Chromebook also has a GOOD number of ports! 1) HDMI, 1) USB-C and 2) USB-A ports. It's lightweight and small. It has 4 CPU quad core (2 more than the Samsung) while the Samsung has a slightly larger screen, higher resolution and fewer CPU quad cores. Meh. I see the HP at so much less money, as the better choice right now. If it was reversed I'd have bought the Samsung and :) would have justified that purchase if it cost less. In doing a bit of light research I found that HP and Samsung were most recommended as "better Chromebooks" than some other brands. The deciding factor for me was - in this instance that while both - brand new - have a base price of $300 the HP was nearly half price while the Samsung only had $18 off at the time I was ready to buy. This chromebook is still new for me, but in the couple of days I've had it, I am - so far - loving the feel of it. These days with hackers just getting better and better I'm hoping that this gives me a tool I need to keep my information and my valued other devices more protected. I'll have to come back a few months later and update the review when I see how it works for me over time. It is looking GREAT so far! If you are considering it, go for it! I just ordered a translucent colored protective case for it too!

I didn't order for it myself, a family member did but I thought it is absolutely right that I come here to say this. I am a sucker for a good laptop that lasts long and has a very soft keyboard. I am extremely happy with the refurbished laptop. If shipping to Nigeria is available, I can even convince some of my friends in school to get this since we have lots of projects piled up for this session. in all, I just want to say it is very good and perfect. I love it.

Great little laptop, not bulky like some others I take it with me a lot even use it some at work. First time using chrome operating system, and I find it very easily use it. I charge it up before I go to work or go out somewhere and I still have battery power when I return home later at night. I Work as a service manager in an auto repair shop and I can use it in the shop while ordering parts close to the cars we are working on so I can match up the parts. I need to order instead of having to run back-and-forth to my office. We are considering buying more, one for each of our employees instead of them having to share one computer to look up parts and repair procedures. Good quality for the price.

My step daughter needed a laptop for school and didn’t want something large or bulky so using my old one wasn’t her favorite idea. I found this one for her for Christmas and got her a computer bag that looks like a purse and she loves this. It’s slim but sturdy, she says it holds a good charge so if she forgets her charger she doesn’t worry because she can use it for her work without getting too low on the battery. It fits nicely on her small desk at home and she is very happy with it. I will order another one for myself and connect it to my monitor because I like to have multiple screens when organizing documents but she likes the size of the screen and is able to do everything she needs on one screen.

I love this laptop a stand sized 15 inch HP Chromebook it’s not touch screen but that’s okay, it’s fast, simple and efficient! Very sleek, thin not heavy at all and I PAID $120 a deal I couldn’t contest resist or pass by. This laptop has allowed me to graduate in May due to all of the papers I’ve to write lol and the storage is pretty good! Lastly it doesn’t take all day to charge or over heat at all!! Great purchase don’t hesitate!
