I have used it so far very little Due to the Pandemic, I am a Essential worker in Health Care. But, I will say for time I have spent on it so far it was very easy to set up & get stared. Sorry not much to say but, I will add more to this review

Like half the world, I needed a basic laptop for my son to go to school online during COVID because the other computers were in use by the rest of the family also working/schooling from home. This did the trick for the low price, portability, and minimal features to keep him from being distracted. I wouldn't recommend using it for much besides surfing the web, checking email, and maybe a Word document. I'm considerably proficient in computers and this would just makes me want to throw it across the room when I try to get it to do much else. For a starter PC for a 9 year old, it's not bad. Will definitely be looking for an upgrade soon though.

I love this laptop! I took out the 4g memory and put in a 8g memory, forgive me if I’m saying this wrong it was weeks ago and now I forget the correct terminology lol. This laptop has no problem loading the programs I need for work. Word, excel, and the internet is fast and all video chats are clear and they speakers work nicely. I am very impressed for the price. 10/10 would recommend. Oh yeah, I took it out of S mode and downloaded the anti virus software that came with it. Have not had any problems. Just don’t try to install mcafee on top of it, bc now it constantly tells me there is an error and I can’t figure out how to delete it, but that was my own mistake. Laptop fits perfectly in my book bag. Not too heavy either. Perfect size for travel. Big fan of windows 10.

If you’re looking for a great laptop and not wanting to break the bank, this is the perfect option. Got this because I have to work a lot from home because of the quarantine and it does everything my work computer does and was very easy to use, install, and the price was unbeatable.

RAM upgrade is definitely recommended. Does not work very fast with the 4GB ram it comes with. Bought another 8gb ram per other reviewer recommendation. Installed it myself and now with 12gb Ram, laptop works great.

Bought this for our daughter as a school laptop and it works like it should. I recommend upgrading the RAM to 8GB. It was quick and easy to do. I would also change the OS to the full version of Windows and not the one it comes with.

Good laptop for the price Bought for a backup laptop since the fan in my expensive Hp laptop died after seven months and I needed a laptop asap since my other one is taking a month to repair. I am very happy with this laptop

Works very well. Good price for an HP book. I bought it for school so I would have a webcam for Zoom meetings and it keeps up very nicely. Not the highest quality camera, but it gets the job done and the computer keeps up with me fairly well.

Great laptop, very easy to work with and set up, not extremely large but a very ideal size laptop. Also come with antivirus that you have to install overall great laptop.

I purchased this because my old laptop died. I wasn't expecting much as the price was low and have been blown away. It works better than I expected and was super easy to set up. I casn highly recommend.

It doesn’t have the best front camera. But I’m Amazed at the sound quality! And the amount of stuff I can do on it. Granted it is sluggish but it will start up quick! I love it. It’s really good for the price!

I am trying to figure it all out coming from a mac and going back to HP. So far it works for what I need it for. It's not fancy and it's basic as equal to the low price. I will give it to my son when I complete my college courses in a few months. I have no complaints at all. I have always loved HP, but I have worked with a higher quality of devices on my job. I was a little sad when I realized this was not a version/quality that I used at work. That's my fault tho. I was looking for most cost effective to use for online courses and to use word to write essays etc. It gets the job done.

Purchased one for the office work. The screen is not as good as on more expensive models. For web browsing, excel, etc, it performs quite well even though it has only 4gb of RAM. + Fast load time Fast SSD Easy start from box Touch pad - Keyboard

I purchased this laptop so I wouldn't be tied to a desktop while working at home. Didn't quite know what to expect from an entry-level AMD processor, though. Although I am a big AMD fan, the last small laptop (HP Stream) I had with an AMD processor was slow as tar in winter. However, having an SSD built in, I figured it would exceed that old Stream without any problem. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this machine performed! Is it a super gaming machine? Nope. It is a good everyday laptop for every day tasks. In short, I am quite happy with my purchase.

Needed this after my daughter broke her school laptop. Boots up fast, runs smooth, has no problem handling her multiplayer games running on low graphics. Does get very warm on the bottom after extended gaming sessions but not extremely so.

The laptop gets the job done. The only reason I give it four stars is due to the camera quality. It makes you look ‘fuzzy’. It does not have clear and crisp quality for Zooming.

This Hp laptop was best price available. Needed one for my kids online school work. This has a hdmi output and 2 3.0 usb ports. Has 128 gb available hard drive space. Clear picture. No optical drive due to its size. Does have a memory card reader on the left side. Everything else is on the right side. Was able to use this for 11 hours straight before i had to charge it again. Only cons i have is that all the usb ports are on one side. Would have been great if at least one was on the left side. I hook this up to a 42 in led lcd tv to magnify the screen.

Got this for my 12 year old nephew for his birthday. Primarily for access to remote learning lessons during COVID and Zoom Boy Scout meetings. Solid construction, set up was a breeze, and so far it is doing all it has been asked to do!

I thought it was a great deal. It's got an SSD, and it starts up fast. I thought 4 GB of RAM would be enough, but it turns out, it's not up to speed for modern browser demands. I bought it for my daughter to use with Google Classroom for school, but the computer locks up frequently. It turns out, if I open up Task Manager when Chrome browser is open, over 80% of memory is being used up, basically the machine is just idling. Open a couple of tabs, start some tasks, and it goes to 100%, and then the lock up happens. The price is great, but I think the specifications leave it obsolete out of the box.
