My studio is Mac-based, but I needed a Windows laptop to run a new piece of equipment. This laptop had one job; open a PDF and print to a thermal printer. It couldn't do this job 80% of the time. I have no other apps or programs installed or running, yet Acrobat would constantly crash attempting to open the file. Never mind the endless updates (taking hours) and constant black screen of death. The one time I tried to open up an internet browser to grab a shared file online, it took over 5 minutes to load a web page. I have no idea how someone could use this in a daily capacity. Disappointed is putting it mildly. Instead of spending a few hundred bucks on something cheap, I thought spending a bit more might mean we could use this for other tasks. But it's going into the garbage the moment a new one arrives (I may take a bat to it, we'll see). I used to love HP, but after this garbage I'm not sure I'd stick with the brand.

The laptop I was told would be here on December 19th just arrived (from Tulsa--- 250 miles away) yesterday. My bill reflects I had it on December 18th and I've made several requests to have that date moved to the date when it arrives. I've received form letters that state the matter is being reviewed. Having started work on the computer, I can say it's a good product.

It easily becomes unbearably slow; almost every time I use it it slows to the point I have no choice but to shut it down. This has even happened during windows updates. Sometimes works well but then will randomly slow to below a crawl so its pretty frustrating to use.

Okay computer, feels cheaply made can’t see it lasting more then 1-2 years of moderate to heavy use.

This computer was good while it lasted for a very short amount of time. When I first took it out of the box it powered up, installed some stuff and I was able to use the computer for about a couple to a few hours. Then it died, I connected it to the charger and didn’t touch it again until a couple days later. That’s when all the problems began. Immediately upon starting it up I was greeted to a black error screen that says something about an operating system needs to be installed, which is very strange considering it already had Windows 10 installed on it. I tried all kinds of troubleshooting methods, tried to factory reset it, etc. but nothing would work, this computer is now essentially a useless piece of junk and I will be returning this ASAP! I just hope all of my personal data that I entered on it during the very short amount of time it did work will be wipe off of it, since I have no way to get back into the computer now.. Perhaps I just got a lemon, but BUYER BEWARE!!!

weak battery has to be plugged in or it will deplete the battery

This PC was too slow for me. I did find a better PC that was faster for just a little extra.

Each time I try to install Google Chrome,,the system defaults back to Bing! Kinna frustrating

Needs the RAM upgraded for it to be good to go. Works great for home or work use.

The computer is good but the charger stopped working on the second day.

I thought this would be alot faster than my old laptop. Its just a little.

Screen too dim. Wish it was a tough screen. The rest is good, not great.

Should have had more systems loaded. Had to buy apps to make it useful

Why is my drive full I just got it for Christmas and haven’t used it.

Just above a tablet or a cell phone without the ability to be a phone

Okay laptop. Slow, good for basic needs and purposes

Fair piece..not the best. Will not buy from best buy in the future

Slow, but functional. Allows me to do homework alright.
