Fantastic purchase! Just a little gadget for what I needed. For on the go, super light weight! I love the cobalt blue cover that doesn’t need a skin. Perfect item for my needs.

Unfortunately, too slow even for regular browsing/emailing/writing. I wish it had not come with windows 11 maybe that's the culprit. These budget laptops can't catch up with latest software. Its unfortunate you can't get a budget laptop these days just for basic needs.

express my disappointment with the HP - 14 Laptop that I recently purchased. I have to say, I am not entirely satisfied with my purchase. I understand that this laptop is on the more affordable end of the spectrum, and as the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for." However, I expected a bit more from a brand like HP. The laptop's performance has been subpar, with slow processing speeds and frequent crashes. The battery life is also not as long-lasting as I had hoped. I have always been a fan of HP products, but this experience has left me feeling disappointed. I was hoping for a reliable and efficient laptop, but unfortunately, that is not what I received.

Even for an entry level use, this is below par product. It was purchased for someone who only needed to use Excel and Microsoft Teams. Both of them did not operate as expected.

I was looking for an entry level pc for my daughter and I let her select a laptop. She selected this one because it's size was similar to her chromebook and she didn't want a touch screen. Unfortunately, this laptop has a celeron processor that does work properly when it heats up. It will freeze up the task bar, disable the functionality of some of the buttons. Worst thing, it may not allow you to sign into your account. We have best buy's total care, we took it to their Geek Squad twice, the issues persisted, and their final word was it's a low-grade computer and processor, so you should expect these kinds of problems.

Doesn’t even work for surfing the web

I needed a super basic laptop for web use only and the person that worked there recommended this one. I hesitated because it was so cheap, but the guy working there assured me if I was just going to be using the internet this would be fine. It really doesn’t even work for using the basic internet. Super buggy, constantly weird error messages and times out and each web page takes up to 30 seconds to load. I’m writing this review from my phone because I’m not even able to log on to the Best Buy site to write this review. At the beginning it was just slow, but it wasn’t until after the 2 weeks window that it basically had become useless. HP should be embarrassed to have their name on this.

This my review of this HP Burst laptop. It is a great basic laptop. The out-of-box experience was really good, after a sign-in of my Microsoft account and a few Windows 11 updates, it was up and running with no issues. The performance is just ok, it is not a high performance laptop that you would play graphic intensive games on. This HP laptop will do all of your everyday basic computing needs. I had no problems with Facebook, X, Instagram, Gmail, Youtube, etc. The battery life was really good and would last longer with the battery saver mode that is available. The 4GB of memory isn't really enough nowadays and I did notice Windows 11 slowing down when having multiple tabs open in Edge, Chrome, or Brave. The 64GB of onboard storage is also on the small side. But, for what this laptop is being marketed towards, it will be fine and an external SSD are getting cheaper all the time. I really wish that HP would have decided to use the now standard USB C charger for this laptop instead of what it has. I was surprised to see the SD card slot on the side, it also has HDMI, 2 USB A ports, A USB C port, and a headphone port. The onboard Bluetooth worked well in my testing. The camera was good, but for some reason, it was not working with the Windows Hello feature. This is a good basic laptop that will do what most people need to do, just don't expect it to be a gaming laptop. I really like it and it will be travelling with me daily as it is lightweight and works well for what it is.

I purchased the new HP and the Geek Squad transferred all my files from my old computer to the new HP. The staff advised me on the type of computer to buy. My overall experience was outstanding. The customer service and technical advice were excellent. I would highly recommended them to everyone.
