This is a nice, compact HP laptop. Only 14" - so smaller than a 17" that I prefer to use - but it's lightweight and really served it's purpose for working while traveling. The BOX contained the laptop and power supply ... that's it! Things have certainly changed over the years! The initial turn-on / setup was easy but took over 2 hours! I didn't like getting a brand new laptop from HP and then have to spend the next 1 1/2 hours WAITING for Windows 11 to update. Really? This came directly from the manufacturer and should have had the latest updates to WIN11 already installed. I don't like Microsoft taking over my computers and forcing Windows/etc. updates. It's MY computer and they always screw something up or install "new features" that i don't care about nor want .... like Co-Pilot! I always prefer numeric keypads since I enter lots of numbers for the work I do, and not having a numeric keypad makes my work time longer. The one thing I really liked was the keyboard; it has a "nice feel" ... hard to explain, but it made typing easier. The keyboard is laid out differently than the other laptop and desktop I use, so I found myself having to "hunt" for keys. At least with a WHITE keyboard it was easy to find those oddball keys that you need in normal use. Processor speed was good and I didn't experience having to wait for applications to load ... it was all rather quick. Internet speed was good too! The laptop had enough connectors for USB, etc. I would recommend this HP 14" LAPTOP to anyone needing an inexpensive, lightweight computer to travel with. Now if I could elmininate some of the stuff I carry in my laptop bag while traveling....

Won’t stay connected to the internet. And poor battery life.I think it’s just a HP thing. I know 3 other people that have other HP models and they complain about the same thing.

This my review of this HP Burst laptop. It is a great basic laptop. The out-of-box experience was really good, after a sign-in of my Microsoft account and a few Windows 11 updates, it was up and running with no issues. The performance is just ok, it is not a high performance laptop that you would play graphic intensive games on. This HP laptop will do all of your everyday basic computing needs. I had no problems with Facebook, X, Instagram, Gmail, Youtube, etc. The battery life was really good and would last longer with the battery saver mode that is available. The 4GB of memory isn't really enough nowadays and I did notice Windows 11 slowing down when having multiple tabs open in Edge, Chrome, or Brave. The 64GB of onboard storage is also on the small side. But, for what this laptop is being marketed towards, it will be fine and an external SSD are getting cheaper all the time. I really wish that HP would have decided to use the now standard USB C charger for this laptop instead of what it has. I was surprised to see the SD card slot on the side, it also has HDMI, 2 USB A ports, A USB C port, and a headphone port. The onboard Bluetooth worked well in my testing. The camera was good, but for some reason, it was not working with the Windows Hello feature. This is a good basic laptop that will do what most people need to do, just don't expect it to be a gaming laptop. I really like it and it will be travelling with me daily as it is lightweight and works well for what it is.

This computer is horrible. I am still having troubles with compute and I am a college student I don't have time to reboot every time it wants to be stupid.

Not even 3 months old and won’t power up. I haven’t used the item any more than once or twice a week.

The earbuds didn't have the needed ear required earpiece . I had to return them to the store.These weren't an open box item, they were refurbished

I wanted to run this laptop through its paces before I sat down to review it. I even let my mom test it out for a couple days. That said, this laptop “may” be good for senior citizens for some general web browsing but I would not wish this unit on students though. 4gb of RAM on a Windows PC is crawling. Using this laptop with this configuration really limits you to Chromebook functionality, and aside from web browsing and Word processing, your utility will be very limited. The display on this laptop is dull and very difficult to read. This is not a Chromebook and therefore should not act like a Chromebook. This is a Windows PC and you should be able to expect higher productivity. The build quality is flimsy and just a step above cardboard. The keyboard flexes when you type on it, the mouse pad is mechanical, and you feel it through every interaction. I would say that the price is its saving grace, but you can get a very functional and capable Chromebook that can do more than this Windows PC can.

You get for what you paid for. The speed on this computer is ridiculously slow. If you’re a student in school I wouldn’t even consider getting this.

Computer was defected and was poorly fixed. Took long time to get store credit for it. Do not buy this brand of computer from there.

This laptop was rebooting itself several times when I first turned it on. It was really slow getting to the main screen.

No stars, refused to put windows 10, that’s the only os that the program I needed it to run works with. I returned it.

I returned the laptop. The workmanship was cheap, the screen lighting was dull. It's just not worth the money.

The sales man was way to pushy. Was just looking at what I could afford and was being told it’s the worst product.

It keeps coming on and shutting off. I’ve tried to call someone and am still waiting on a return call.

Nothing like expected! Flimsy laptop which isn’t suitable for working from home. Will be returning for a refund!
