I ordered in October 2020 and did not use it until January 2021. Even then I used it sporadically and it has a hard time powering on. I can count the number of times I've used this computer. It comes with a built in battery so if it doesn't function properly, you're out of luck. Please try other HP laptops because this one came defective. There is only so long before you can return it so test it out after you receive it.

Sometimes when doing update gets stuck has done it on more than one occasion. I guess good for a first time computer for my daughter.

Very good, inexpensive laptop for doing everything except for streaming video or online audio + video conferences (e.g., Zoom).

it serves as a good substitute for the viewing of emails as opposed to an i-phone but not powerful enough for much else

It’s an ok budget laptop. It’s fine for basic use but would not recommend for school or work.

Item not available or ready when originally promised. Charges reversed and recharged. Glad they ended up finding me one.

This laptop is slow but if you are using it for email, school work? It would do the job but for everything else……. Too slow

Not happy with the laptop. Not enough memory. So I decided to return the lap top.

The price was decent. The look is nice. It's ok for what it is. It's just missing features that I thought it would have.

Gave this to my daughter for Christmas on 12/25. It’s already back with the Geek Squad for major repairs which will take 6-8 weeks.

Ended up returning because it was very slow but as just a computer to be used for internet needs it will do.

The review i read on this product was inaccurate. I brought this model specifically because it said the RAM was sufficient to run multiple programs, and still operate. I bought an external cd drive that's supposed to be "plug and play", and the computer wont run it, or recognize it. I tried looking up troubleshootingvideos online, and when i found a few the operatingsystem was mising options that showed on the video... When i went to best buy in orange for help customer service told me it didn't have enough RAM to run a external cd drive (which just sounds crazy) and there solution instead of taking a minute to help me fix the problem, was to offer to sell me more vrap, and literally shoo me away cause a line was forming...

Let me start by saying that I knew this was a lower end laptop. For $224 I wasn’t expecting a lot. But what I was expecting is to be able to surf the net, check emails, submit my college assignments and watch Netflix and Hulu. When doing any of the above, this laptop takes FOREVER to load. Even when reading emails, I click to read the email and then I have to wait for the email to load. Watching Netflix and Hulu is impossible. My college uses “Proctorio” to submit quizzes and this laptop will not work with Proctorio. I’ve only had this laptop 3 months and it’s garbage. Total waste of money.

Metallic grayscale color keyboard EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO SEE! !! ! ! ! ! ! AndI waited too long to return computer.

I like the laptop. But the battery dies very quickly and if you are using as a work from home PC, better get one with faster speed!!

Can not download zoom because of some type a program on the computer. Bought computer for my daughter to do virtual learning

Hard to use. Keyboard is not finger friendly. And the Word program is terrible. Too many steps just to save a document. On the other hand, it is light and easier to carry. Conclusion: it was recommended by a Geek Squad person to buy a new computer. I chose this one. I should have stuck with Apple.

I will admit it’s my fault that I didn’t know what to look for in a computer. But I’ve owned this for like 1 month and it’s practically unusable. There is zero space on it. I couldn’t even put photos on it without it using it all.

Someone stole it and i can't get help from anyone to get it back. Other than that it was an awesome computer!

Laptop is just ok. It is more of a chrome book. Wish I would have spent a bit more to get what I want.
