I bought mine slightly over a month ago, but it's speed is slow. When I try to contact HP using the support tab, it doesn't let me. Occasional when I type, the screen blacks out on and off.

It's a basic computer which was all I expected because it was a GREAT low price. Seems to run good. The only thing that bothers me is that I bought 2 of these and they each act very differently.

Got this got my Dad for Christmas. He has a real hard time with technology and I think this computer will be great for him because it’s easy to use and also still has all the latest features.

Extremely good for the price, bought it to use at work and handles what i want it to do well.. have fiber at work and on the basic 100 plan.. quick web site loads. Streams with no lag.. only complaint i have is lack of disc space and no way to upgrade it. Wanted to toss an old game on it but lacked room. tried to load game on a 256 gig sdcard i stuck in it but game wouldnt function unless loaded on main drive. Still functions great for the price.

This laptop is amazing! It's super thin and light, but still has a great display and plenty of power. The battery life is incredible, too. I've been using it for work and video editing and it's been a dream. it's definitely worth the money.

This is my second purchase of this laptop. I bought one in 2023 for myself for college and I just bought my high schooler one. Simple laptop that meets our requirements.

Let's face it, this computer is complete barebones. It has a keyboard and a mouse and a functioning screen, and that's about it. I had a 2011 Macbook pro that had one foot in the grave and currently on a college budget, so I bought this to get me through the rest of the semester. Yes, it comes with "S" mode turned on, but just go to the Microsoft support page and it will literally take 5 seconds to turn off. I have no idea how people on here claim that it took them "3 hours" when there is a guide that Microsoft posted. The computer itself isn't exciting, at all. The speakers on my iPhone 4 are better, the screen on my 11 year old Mac is better, and the trackpad is one of the worst. But, for $200-250 what do you really want? It is not blazing fast, and if you have multiple tabs open you bet it is going to slow down. Personally, I can't believe how barebones the specs of this thing are, but still, it manages to work perfectly fine day to day. If you are looking for a performance laptop, this for sure isn't it. But, if you are a broke college student like me or just need a laptop in a pinch, then this little thing is great and has saved me from headaches trying to restore my old Macbook. One bonus... for a tiny laptop this thing has great battery life. My Mac would only last a pathetic 25 minutes before dying, this thing lasts over 5 hours and can get through the day with no issues.
