This laptop somehow combines the limitations of a budget tablet with the inconvenience of a laptop. It has 4GB of RAM in 2026. Windows alone is practically asking for an apology before you even open a browser. Open a few tabs, check your email, and watch the entire system negotiate with itself over what gets to stay in memory. The 128GB of storage disappears almost immediately after Windows, updates, and recovery files move in. You'll spend more time deciding what to delete than what to download. The 1366×768 display is a reminder that somewhere, someone still thinks 2012 was the peak of laptop design. The Intel N150 isn't even the biggest problem. It's perfectly capable of handling basic tasks, like starting a fire with flint. The problem is HP handcuffed it with so little memory that it never gets a chance to do its job. If all you need is something to browse the web once in a while or write the occasional document, it'll technically do that. But for just a little more money, there are laptops with 8GB or 16GB of RAM, a Full HD display, and an actual SSD that won't make every click feel like a loading screen. This isn't e-waste... but it arrives with a head start.
