Bought for my daughter for school The mouse pad glitches a lot set up was somewhat annoying

First of all, i couldn't actually get into the computer until I set up a windows account.
The updates took 28 hour to complete the updates, WHY???????
Just to get into the machine I had to set up a windows account, why would I need to go through an additional number of hopes I have to give out even more information and have to maintain a whole other account , and I wasn't enthusiastic about setting up in the first place.
The system layout makes absolutely no sense.
I've tried setting up a password twice and both times it just sent me to a random youtube video. I tried looking for an instruction manual on the computer and it literally sent me to a website.
Would it be too much to ask to have the owner's manual on the computer for offline use.
It was a black friday deal, let's just say i'm getting what I paid for.

Very sad and disappointed. I got this laptop home only to realize it wouldn’t power on at all even after being plugged in for awhile, the light wouldn’t even come on when it was plugged in for charging. Unfortunately I’m not able to drive and I have health issues so this was very stressful and upsetting to me, I had to find and pay to find a way back up there and I had to go outside of my budget to avoid getting the same laptop that would possibly have the same issue. There was no compensation or accommodation for what happened. I do appreciate the overall kindness but it didn’t make up for the experience so as much as I love to leave good reviews I don’t recommend this laptop at all and if you do decide to purchase it, I would ask if it could be powered on/plugged in before leaving the store. I did purchase another HP laptop that so far works pretty well. Thank you so much. Have a blessed day everyone
