I felt sure that it had all the speed I needed especially since it was a gaming laptop. Unfortunately, the one thing I needed (speed) has been the one thing that has been lacking. It's not horrible but, it's not what I had hoped it would be. The price was excellent and it came with virus protection. I purchased a different virus protector than provided because I have in the past, still had problems with MacAfee. I also purchased Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). These two downloads could not have slowed this laptop down however. I also found that I did not like the keyboard with the numbers on the side. I am having to relearn finger placement. I love the green lit background however, it is not bright enough to light up the keyboard when I'm working in a poorly lit area. This is also frustrating.

Great Laptop, but speakers suck

Runs fast and video is great, especially using the HDMI with a larger 2nd monitor. The only con and why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the speakers. The sound sucks. But if you have an external set of speakers, you will be golden. Still not a bad buy for the price point.
