Bought this for my daughter to game on. When she's gaming, I can hear something running in the background & the computer gets warm to the touch. Wondering what's happening. Otherwise, she loves it.

Everything is good about this laptop, but the touch pad really lags. When I first turned it on to use, the touchpad was already lagging. It's super slow. If the touchpad didn't lag so much, then I would've given this laptop a 5 stars.

I've been working from home, due to Covid-19, and my older laptop crashed one day. I needed a new laptop immediately. I did some research on this laptop, and bought it! I love it! It boots up in seconds, not minutes! I would highly recommend this laptop!

The computer has been very responsive and easy to use with four kids. The only thing is that we had to download a different browser to utilize one of the kids programs from school.

I bought this to help my small church start live-streaming during the pandemic. It has worked out great. We are reaching people we never thought we could reach. It’s easy to navigate and it has everything built in for streaming. Thanks HP and Best Buy

This computer is much larger than I originally wanted. It also seems to do more than what I really need. My main goal was to have a machine that I could use for editing and organizing photos. This does that and much more.

Have not had it long, but I have used it for a couple of older games and it runs them great. Super quick startup. Not too heavy, not too light. I did not pay attention when I purchased it but it does not have a cd-rom, so I had to go and purchase a usb style.

The laptop is decent. I was able to play AAA games on this. Long-term is another story. I don't know whether it was a BIOS update or a defective fan but one of the fan semi-failed and the laptop would display a fan error message on startup once in awhile. I even had to open up the laptop to check. Later, the battery would die and the only thing still keeping the laptop on is the charger. I plan on never buying a generic gaming laptop from HP ever again.

I was a little skeptical about buying this even though I have the desktop version of it. After buying it and getting it set up it did better than I had thought it would. I will definitely buy another when the time comes.

We are thoughly enjoying this Gaming laptop. This my son"s first laptop and he is excited beyond words to be able to play games, learning how to code and bringing some of his own thoughts and ideas to life... Thank you for a great and durable product.

I got this laptop for $500. It was such a great value when it was on sale. Although the RBG light is only green, it still satisfies how cool it is. The computer is not slow at all and it can’t handle a lot of every day programs.

My son used it for 4 months to play video games! And stepped working fast! I took to best buy! They helped me! But I won't buy it again! For sure!

I like it and it is much lighter in weight than my old one. I was really hoping that when I picked it up that someone would've gone over the the computer with me. Instead it was just pick it up and leave.

The first computer we received, the letter P wouldn't work. We sent it back & Best Buy replaced it. After having this computer for a couple months, I am not all that thrilled with it. For a computer sold as a gaming computer, it is not that fast. It gets hung up loading pages or videos when on the internet. The mouse on the computer has already stopped working properly. We have had to start using a wireless mouse. The computer has begun to freeze on start up. The past week it has not been waking up after it goes to sleep. I have to turn it off manually & restart it.

Disappointed that it is not touchscreen. I purchased directly from BEST BUY just when the shelter in started and that was the only one at that price at that moment. It is working really good so far.

I bought this laptop for programming, but decided to play games on it as well. This machine plays most games very well (Warzone, PUBG, MW2CR). All you might need is upgrade the storage and memory, but overall great.

NOT A GAMING PC. I got this back on April 2020. Right off the bat, could not play any games I wanted to play. I had to purchase and install more ram just to get fallout to play. Had to make some video cards adjustments as well. I know this wasn't a high end gaming computer but if I can't even play a 3 year old game on it, it shouldn't be calling itself a gaming computer. In May I took this laptop with me on a trip. I was in online school at the time. When I got to my destination it wouldn't boot up. Well that's not exactly true. It booted up but the screen was completely not coming on. I called tech support right away. Mid call the screen decided to come on. So they guy I was talking to made a note and that was that. Well, for months after it kept doing this occasionally. I didn't wanna deal with tech support. They wanna keep your computer for 7 days and I know it takes maybe an hour to figure out the problem. I need my computer every day so it's just not an option. So I called tech support again today because now the screen just isn't coming on at all period. I'm on hold as we speak after being transferred for the 4th time. I just want to exchange this laptop if possible since the warranty is still good on it. But I feel like I'm being given the run around. Bottom line, don't buy this laptop if you expect to be able to use it to game. I don't even play much games on it but I like that I CAN. So this is very disappointing. Maybe the ram is the cause for the screen issue, but if that's the case then clearly I don't want this thing off I can't even upgrade the ram to do what it claims it can do without it...

When you buy a laptop you want one with Quality. You are moving around a lot and you don't want a cheap laptop that brakes easily. We have bought serval of these and have not had any issues.

Cpu and Gpu combination is good. I was on a budget so bought this.
