after having this laptop for almost 2 years I can say it wasn't worth the money, could of bought a regular laptop and have it last and play games easier than this. the gpu is terrible doesn't handle games like call of duty etc, ran sims ok. laptop heats and over heats easily.

tapping the trackpad results in a rattle, thought it was some sort of haptic feedback or something however, it is just an annoying loose plastic clacking noise. Now, faced with returning or shipping to hp or whatever. Guess I will be without a laptop again. The trackpad just sounds like poor engineering.

Trouble setting up. Kept resetting. Very touchy and still learning

Battery burst within one month of purchase. Best buy would also not allow me to have this fixed or replace because of being on the 32 day of purchase

Had the laptop for not even 30 days and it already is giving me issues. I have yet to have been satisfied from any product that I have gotten from Best Buy or HP it’s literally a hair better than my old laptop in the closet giving it its second star.

Leaving it idle for a moment and the mouse cursor froze up on me. I couldn't do anything. It is very slow hesitates and i literally had nothing on the computer. Not happy with it. I thought for a gaming computer it would be great.

The headline pretty much says it all. Heading to Geek Squad soon. Very disappointed. I bought this to replace a Microsoft Surface Pro that died and could not be repaired. I expected so much more than I got. Maybe I got a lemon, but still....

Thought a gaming computer meant the best graphics and sound. I was very mistaken. The HP Pavilion lap top had poor picture quality, the sound system was so bad it was not usable for Zoom Meetings and it did not even have the lightning port to connect with the HP docking station. Poor product that HP never should have sold. Have had five HP lap tops and this is the only one that I have had a problem with. Had to return it and buy a Hp Spectre. Please avoid this product.

laptop itself looks great but lags a great deal. 8gb is not enough; the description sounds great but actual usage is bad. it will get things done but slow/lags

Purchased an HP GEFORCE GTX laptop. I am not pleased with this computer. I have experienced several unexpected problems, and have not felt comfortable in dealing with them because of the coronavirus.

This computer was bought more for work than fun. It is just not living up to expectations. I didn't realize HP didn't really like Microsoft products.

This was my first time purchasing an AMD because it was hyped up to me by a salesperson as a great gaming laptop. it was one of the worst computer experiences of my life. I had multiple issues with it and even took it in for Geek Squad attention. In the end I had to return it as it did not work up to its intended purposes at all! Not sure if it was the reason BUT I will NEVER by AMD again.

Laptop was great when we first bought it. After around 1 year did not work Best Buy covered it with the extended warranty I purchased. They were able to fix it, however no warranty on the work. After a couple months same thing. No coverage as over a year now and no coverage on the work /part replaced. Gave 1 star not a good value and did not last. Would definitely not buy again.

The battery life wouldn’t last long. And the charger would get hot instantly.

Laptop worked great for two weeks. Then the system slowed to a crawl. If you clicked any windows button, it took a full minute to load the menu. Wifi went from 700 mbps to 12mgbs. Could not correct. Finally attempted a factory reset. Got stuck in the process. Had to do a hard shutdown and delete all personal files as part of the recovery. Returning the laptop and buying a dell.

Was an ok pc but didn’t run CSGO that well. I wouldn’t recommend if you want to play any FPS.

i use it three times since i bought it i updated it and gave me a blue screen error took it in and was told sorry put it will be 200 bucks to fix even with insurance they sold me saying every thing can be replaced or given a new computer if it cant be fixed so no stars for me worst buy from bestbuy

Great computer if you don't mind it rebooting at random times. I applied every recommended update and fix, and it still does it. I can't afford to lose work. Wish I hadn't bought it. Can't return it now. Also, the backlit keyboard times out after a short time and there is no way to configure it to stay lit. That is just dumb.

The battery wont last more than a couple of hours of game.

Used mainly for remote work from home duties, excellent speed to keep up with workload. Nice graphics and sound when used for gaming. Completely satisfied with purchasing this laptop, a little late on the review but 4 years later still running smooth.
