turned on, screen proceeded to turn green, broke. Wouldn't turn on.

The computer doesn’t work we had to return it. It wouldn’t turn on.

Every time I try to use it, it freezes with in 5 minuets.

Great looking and great function. Used mostly for video editing on Premiere. Also some light gaming (ie. Sims). Battery is giving out on me almost 4 years later. Seems to happen to all of my HP laptops

Pretty much plays most games from medium to low graphics. Mainly got it for WoW which runs it perfectly on high graphics. Messed around with it playing games like fortnite,Final Fantasy ARR,Division2 and so on and it runs them okay. I suggest since the integrated video card takes about 2g of your 8g ram you utilize the empty slot and pick you 8 more.

It has served its purpose for the last 5 years time for an upgrade. Great product

I bought this laptop 4 years ago. Works well! Son used it, now I do. Good for work and gaming.

The laptop could run most games I wanted to play. I've had it for 4 years and it worked to the last second doing it's job and giving me joy in gaming. I've made so many memories and met so many people. I learned so much from this machine also. I wouldn'trecommend buying this laptop in 2024 as it has a 1050. It was built to last though, the fame still feels new.

Very good laptop. Most games played fine besides the graphics. Good for games like stardew or animal crossing. Not so much Overwatch or dbd

Has carried me through my work from home jobs fairly efficiently. I get the blue screen of death sometimes starting about a year and a half ago & I got the computer in 2020 so that’s a little disappointing. But I’m glad it’s still running for now, just lost one of my keys on my keyboard too. I just started using it for actual gaming but it doesn’t work very well for that unfortunately. Looking to upgrade soon

-I've own this laptop for about 4 months now and i mainly use it for gaming and media consumption. I thinks a great laptop but i had to make 2 upgrades . -One problem you might face is the ram. The laptop is marketed to have 8gb of ram which is true but 2.08 of that is dedicated to Vram. Therefore, practically it has 5.92gb of ram. So if a game like sunset overdrive has a minimum ram requirement of 8gb it might run but not at max graphic settings or frame rate. And the 250gb ssd is not enough for more than 4-5 of you're average popular games. After 3 to 5 games you'll run out of space. -So what I did was buy 8gb of ddr4 2.66GHZ laptop ram(dimm) and a 500gb 2.5in ssd. My upgrade cost about 100$. -You could drop the price by getting 4gb of the propper ram instead which i think is good enough and I'm you could find a cheaper ssd. I was just in a rush so I wasn't frugal that day. It is pretty easy to upgrade by yourself but you should be careful. I can make a video on how to if needed. -In conclusion you'll definitely need to get more disk space for gaming unless you just going to have 3-4 average size games at a time on it and for certain games you'll need to upgrade the ram. 4gb of ram is good and cost just 20$. I think i paid about 34$ for 8gb. If you're a gamer you'll need more disc space and more ram depending on the requirements of the type of games you like. Check you favorite games ram requirements and if its more than 5.92 that know that you're under the requirement however the game might still run just not with max settings. -(Extra information) to buy ram it has to be ddr4 which i believe is the samething as PC4 so it might say that and the clock speed need to be more or the same as 2.66GHZ. It will work with a lower clock speed but the ram that comes with the laptop will lower its clock speed which is not good. You can add storage by adding a 2.5in SSD or HDD. I highly suggest sticking to SSD. You don't need to get the most expensive Samsung one either. You could also replace PCIe Nvme SSD but you need to figure out how to transfer the operation system and data since that is the primary drive. After you add a drive and its connected properly you have to partition the drive or you will not be able to save anything on it. So watch a youtube video on how to do that if you didn't know how to. I love the laptop though. No complaints other than it needs a little more ram and a lot more disc space. If you could find a laptop with similar specs but with a little more ram and disc space for around 70$ more then you should get it or if you're not at all good with computers so you can't upgrade it then this might not be for you but this was my first time doing anything like this so I'd suggest watching a how to video before doubting if you can do it or not. But this is a steal imo. I could be wrong tho. -Nit pick is that there is no function lock key so when im tinkering with the media controls i have to hold FN. Also the colors are a little washed out. Not at all bad but not the best. It is full HD, bright, and has a 60 hertz refresh rate tho so thats good. - For the price it's 4.5 stars.

Writing this review after using 2.5 years . Laptop still works as fast as it was when purchased . That’s the best thing I like of gaming laptops (even though it’s low level gaming laptop) . Have used to play gta5 works well . Used for university purpose and served the purpose it needs to and battery now comes for like 4 hrs

Just purchase this sweet machine. It is fast and powerful. Okay, the 256 GB hard drive was a little small since my legacy data exceeded 425 GB. So we put a 1 TB hard drive in it. Sweet Machine! The gaming features come in handy, not for gaming...as I don't. But it comes in handy for doing some heavy duty graphics and 3D modeling. That is another reason I needed a larger HD.
